This work tries to design a cover that is suitable for paving or grassing and its opening mechanism. The hatch has atypical dimensions and there are requirements for maximum deflection on the roads. The lid of the cover will be filled with the surrounding material, so it will be very heavy. Therefore, it is necessary to look for an opening mechanism that opens the heavy cover with one possible and available deformation strength of the cover. The work summarizes the necessary information for the design of the cover and its opening mechanism.
