Compact transmission
Richter, Vojtěch ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on compact transmissions. The motive of the thesis is to review modern gearbox concepts. It describes special gearboxes that are compact in design, e.g.: worm gearbox, planetary gearbox. The focus is on the environment in which they operate, the input speed, the magnitude of power transmitted, the weight and dimensions of the gearbox. Machines that can be included in this group and operate with compact gearboxes are aircraft engines, wind turbines, industrial robots or small portable machines and medical devices. The work includes the design of a gearbox for a car winch. It is a three-stage planetary gearbox and 7 variants have been calculated. The required parameters were a maximum gearbox diameter of 100 mm and a minimum thrust of 1500 kg. Furthermore, an electric motor was defined. Subsequently, the best gearbox design was selected with a gear ratio of 1:144, a diameter of 92 mm, a width of 35 mm and a thrust of 1503 kg.
