The content of the thesis was the analysis of the current state of the square and the determination of conditions for further use of the area. The thesis was not only limited to an analytical statement about the current form of the territory, but it presents a critical view on the legislative and methodological framework of the planning documentation. As a result, the regulatory plan was replaced by the current plan, which became the city plan of the city of Vienna. He works with tools that reflect the paradigms of contemporary urbanism. By using a minimum number of regulations, it sets clear rules for the creation of place and location of objects in relation to the character of the existing building, while maintaining the possibility of individual approach to filling the design areas within the defined rules. The proposed regulatory plan uses these tools to use concepts as defined by Czech legislation, and the functionality of these tools has been tested in a number of mass models during the preparation of the plan. The new city plan, together with the knowledge gained during the preparation of the pre-diploma project, became the basis for the creation of a proposal for the solution of Roman Square and newly placed buildings.
