Chinese culture and the Czech interwar art

Bachelor thesis Chinese culture and the Czech interwar art focuses on exhibitions of Chinese art in the Czechoslovak environment and their organisers in the period between the two world wars. The connection between Chinese art and Czechoslovakian collectors, travellers and artists of that period is the subject of this thesis. The author aims to identify how specific Czechoslovakian figures perceived, reflected and were affected by this non-European cultural influence.
The impact of Chinese culture on marketing strategies of selected companies in China

This master thesis focuses on the impact of Chinese culture on marketing strategies of selected companies in China. According to statistics, a large number of subjects coming to China and aiming to conduct business here faces failure and is forced to leave this market subsequently. Considering significant differences between the western and the Chinese culture, we have to think of the question if this failure is a consequence of these subjects not being able to understand the Chinese culture and the way it affects consumers in China. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the influence and importance of the Chinese culture on marketing applied to Chinese market, including concrete description of how can the Chinese culture affect the work of marketers in China.
Cultural and historical factors influencing China's behaviour in international relations

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to make an analysis of a cultural and historical influence on a China's position and behaviour in international relations. The work examines the period of Chinese modern times, particularly the second half of the twentieth century. The main selected characteristics of Chinese philosophy and culture are applied on the Chinese foreign policy; the analysis and application of Geert Hofstede's cultural paradigms for Chinese culture is included as well. The main selected aspects of Chinese history and their influence are analysed after that, both in the given period and in present. The conclusion summarises the influence of these factors on Chinese foreign policy and assesses whether this influence is significant. It also contains the evaluation whether the observed influence complies with the reality, it means whether the theory of Chinese foreign policy corresponds with its practice.
