Production of CO2 and emission trading system
Bravený, Adam ; Niesner, Jakub (referee) ; Ferdan, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis is divided thematically into two parts. The first one describes the state of gaseous carbon dioxide production, being considered the main cause of greenhouse effect or global warming. By the summary of many sources it is revealed how CO2 is produced, what influences its concentration in air the most and the CO2 level trends. The second part is focused on European Union and Czech emissions trading system, which is actual and widely discussed topic in the last few years. The main rules, mechanisms of the market and a model case of allowances trading is presented. The existence of the whole system and its positive and negative effects on the economy and environment are discussed.

Production of cap
Braško, Zdenko ; Staněk, Vojtěch (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to propose and design the production of the cap. The cap is welded to the tube of roller regal and is used for closing the tube. They together make a fixed assembly. There is a bearing molded from inside the cap and shaft passes through the center of the cap. The main function of whole assembly is to rotate the tube around its own axis. The cap will made from deep - drawing steel DC04 with a thickness of 2 mm. After consideration various possible variants for the cap production, there was chosen deep drawing without reduction of thickness as the most profitable technology. The shape of the component was modified from the technology review. There is proposed a tool that will be used for production the caps. The caps will be produced within three operations: the first two operations form a central cup and the third operation makes the final shape of the cap. Drawings for the tool are created and delivered as part of this thesis. Based on the necessary force and work calculation, it was chosen eccentric press machine S 160 E from the ŠMERAL company. With the 25 000 series, the costs of production one piece are 51,65 CZK.
Methyltransferases of human +ssRNA viruses
Skořepa, Jan ; Bouřa, Evžen (advisor) ; Otava, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is a structural and functional description of viral methyltransferases of important human +ssRNA viruses from the families Coronaviridae and Flaviviridae. Over 400 million people are infected with diseases such as Dengue, Yellow fever, or Japanese encephalitis (Flaviviridae) every year. During the current pandemic of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (Coronaviridae), more than 750 million people have already been infected worldwide. Methyltransferases are involced in the synthesiz of the cap structure at the 5' end of the viral RNA, which increases its stability and facilitates translation. A detailed structural understanding of proteins NS5 (Flaviviridae methyltransferase), nsp14 and nsp16 (Coronaviridae methyltransferases) is necessary for the subsequent development of their inhibitors. As antivirals, these could help with the treatment of viral diseases caused by coronaviruses and flaviviruses.
Study of selected mushroom toxins of Amanita muscaria.
Adámek, Michal ; Bosáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Hložek, Tomáš (referee)
The presented bachelor's thesis was focused on the development of an HPLC-MS/MS method for the separation and eventual quantification of the main toxins of Amanita muscaria (fly agaric). After optimization of tandem mass detection conditions, MRM transitions were found for muscarine (174 → 57), ibotenic acid (159 → 113), muscimol (115 → 98) and cycloserine (103 → 75), which was used as an internal standard. Measurements were performed on Luna Omega 1.6 µm polar C18 column in RP-HPLC mode with an optimized mobile phase composition of 2:98 (v/v) acetonitrile/deionized water with the addition of 0.1% formic acid in both components and Ascentis Express RP- Amide in HILIC mode with an optimized mobile phase composed of 70:30 (v/v) methanol/deionized water with the addition of 0.5% formic acid in both components. Calibration curves with a range of 0.01 to 10 µg/ml for RP-HPLC and 0.01 to 25 µg/ml for HILIC were measured under optimized conditions. Urine and blood serum solutions of a patient with Amanita muscaria poisoning, including diluted versions of these solutions, were measured. Ibotenic acid and muscimol were found in the patient's urine, muscarine, ibotenic acid and muscimol in the blood serum. The RP-HPLC method gave narrower peaks with lower retentions and lower noise levels. The studied toxins...

The EU's Common Agricultural Policy and its Impact on Economics of Farms in a Comparison of Circular Economics.
MUNDUCHOVÁ, Kateřina
The aim of the thesis is to analyze the principles, intentions and fuctioning of the common agricultural policy of the EU (CAP). Subsequently assess its impact on the ecnonomy of agricultural companies as entities operating in the circular economy. Since joining the EU, financial resources from European funds (EAGF, EARFD) have been flowing to the Czech Republic, and their mediation is the main task of the State Agricultural Intervention Fund (SZIF). In the thesis is analyze the development of payments of the first and second pillars of the CAP from 2004 to 2020, furthermore, the development of agricultural subsidies and their impact on the financial situation in the selected agricultural company including a comparasion with the average agricultural enterprise in the Czech Republic and the EU. Financial data on the development of payments of both pillars are taken from the annual reports of SZIF. Information about the company can be obtained from the public registr and the collection of documents and from the list of recipients of SZIF subsidies. Data about the average enterprise is downloaded from the FADN database. It is found that the CAP is not only financed from the EU budget, but also from the budget of the Czech Republic. From the financial analysis of the company X, Plc., it follows that the company is not capable to make a profit wit-hout subsidies and finally by means of test statistic the hypothesis of no difference in the paid amounts of the first pillar between the selected subject and the average enterprise is disproved.
