Variabilita druhu \kur{Calamagrostis varia}
NAKLÁDALOVÁ, Jana
Calamagrostis varia is a critically endangered species in Czechia. It has an interesting distribution range comprising the main area in calcareous parts of Alps and Carpathians and several isolated distribution areas on the northern edge of its range. The ecology of these sites is very heterogeneous. We therefore decided to explore this species' variability. In this study DNA ploidy level by FCM, morphometric characters and 2 genetic markers of 50 populations across the distribution range of C. varia were studied.
The variability of \kur{Calamagrostis phragmitoides} in the Czech Republic and its comparison with morphologically similar species
SCHAABOVÁ, Veronika
Calamagrostis phragmitoides belongs to taxonomically complex C. purpurea aggregate with circumpolar distribution area. The relations between morphologically similar taxa of this aggregate are not clear. Populations of C. purpurea agg. from Central Europe, Scandinavia and Siberia (including one plant from the North America) were genetically studied (cpDNA, ITS, ploidy level by FCM). Allozyme and morfological variability of populations C. phragmitoides and morphologically similar C. canescens was also studied in the Czech Republic. This study was supported by grant SGA PrF JU in 2014.
The taxonomical problems of genus \kur{Calamagrostis phragmitoides} in Central Europe.
SCHAABOVÁ, Veronika
Morphological characteristics of genus Calamagrostis cause problems in determination of individual species. Almost 20 populations of two species of this genus were studied in the Czech Republic. Morphometry, flow cytometry and other genetic method were used to clearly determine the di fferences and potencial relations.
