Integration of A/D game scenario into the BUTCA platform

Nowadays we live in world where it is almost impossible to exist without information technologies. Therefore, higher requirements for cyber security arise and with the requirements grows the need for trained professionals. BUTCA is Cyber Range platform which provides, through educational scenarios, students and professionals environment where they can test their theoretical knowledge in practical examples. Current scenarios in BUTCA are focused either on defensive or offensive cyber security skills. This master’s thesis proposes educational scenario that is focused on defensive and offensive security skills at the same time. Scenario is designed for teams competing each other, each team tries to compromise instances of the other team while trying to defend own instances against cyber attacks of other team. Main contribution of this master’s thesis is design and implementation of described scenario which will be easily scalable for teams of different number of players and also that would be easily expandable thanks to usage of its own library of vulnerabilities. Final implementation of the educational scenario was imported into BUTCA platform where the scenario was tested with the assistance of team of professional penetration testers.
Vliv CTF na utužení půdy a ekonomiku zemědělského podniku

The bachelor's thesis deals with the comparison of three methods of cultivation of Julia winter wheat. The work is focused on the cultivation method in the CTF system. The thesis explains what farming in the CTF system means and what benefits they bring to farmers. GPS systems that belong to automation in agriculture are also described. Attention is paid mainly to the cost of fuel consumption of used rigs and to excess crossings in the field.
Cybersecurity game in OpenStack platform

The bachelor thesis is about creation of the cybernetic game on the OpenStack platform. The work starts with an explanation of necessary knowledge like: Informational cybernetic and computer security, security threats, and testing of the overall security. In the practical part, there is created a cyber game that focus on exploitation and basic security vulnerabilities. The next part involves analysis ongoing complexity of hardware resources like RAM, CPU, disc, etc. In the end, there is a guideline for a lab exercise, which is made for students and professors or teachers both separated.

Diplomová práce se zabývá detektory rentgenového záření pro mikro-CT systémy. Teoretická část zahrnuje standartní typy rentgenových detektorů a požadavky na kvalitu obrazu pro výslednou 3D rekonstrukci. V závěru jsou popsány fyzikální parametry reálných detektorů a metody jejich měření a vyhodnocení.
The role of banks in the fight against money laundering and financing of terrorism

Money laundering and terrorist financing are serious problems that may not only disrupt the stability and reputation of financial institutions, but also affect a wide range of individuals. Therefore, this kind of conduct can be punished as a crime, including the active involvement of banks in money laundering. However, the diploma thesis focuses mainly on preventive measures introduced by the provisions of administrative law. The role of a well-functioning banking system is essential for the effective suppression of money laundering and financing of terrorism. Banks are the most frequent reporters of suspicious transactions and the bank services are used by wide range of persons. The role of banks is mainly determined by their designation as obliged entities by the Act no. 253/2008 Coll., on certain measures against the legalization of proceeds of crime and terrorist financing. The obligations arising out of this act are put into context with the Czech Banking Act and with regulations governing payments and implementation of international sanctions, including directly applicable laws of the European Union. The importance of the bank services is also caused by the regulation of cash payments. In connection with the activities of banks, the thesis reflects selected changes that will be introduced by...
Role of communication in team-oriented FPS games

Communicaton in computer games is used to coordinate a team strategy and for sharing knowledge. The role of communication was examined in this thesis by creating several teams of bots for CTF mode of the Unreal Tournament 2004 computer game. As a base for implementation served the Pogamut platform and an existing deathmatch bot adjusted for CTF mode. For comparison three teams were made: the first was without any communication, the second used knowledge sharing and the third team - apart from knowledge sharing - used active communication for group movement. After several comparing experiments a conclusion was made that the team without communication is not worse than teams using communication. The difference is small and may have been affected during experiments or by specific implementation in this thesis. 1

Using yaPOSH for CTF team behaviour

Title: Using yaPOSH for CTF team behaviour Author: Mikuláš Zelinka Department: Department of Software and Computer Science Education Supervisor: Mgr. Michal Bída Abstract: We evaluated the suitability of yaPOSH (an action-selection system for virtual agents) for complex team behaviour development, specifically for the Capture the Flag (CTF) mode in Unreal Tournament 2004. We created a CTF team using yaPOSH and Java and compared them with a CTF team written by V. Tuma in plain Java as well as with the native UT2004 bots. We found out that although yaPOSH does have some advantages over plain Java (mainly in code readability), one cannot create a competitive bot using yaPOSH only. That is a direct consequence of the limitations the yaPOSH planner has, with the most significant one being lack of parallelism support. Thus, some as- pects of the behaviour (such as combat) were programmed in Java. Nevertheless, the resulting team is better than the native bots by a margin and slightly better than Tuma's CTF team. As a result, we have made several suggestions for improvements of the yaPOSH engine as well as its editor, such as to add the possibility to execute multiple ya- POSH plans at once, or to enable their parallel evaluation.
