SIW slot antenna
Martinec, Matěj ; Puskely, Jan (referee) ; Pítra, Kamil (advisor)
This work is dealing with the design of waveguide slot array antenna and SIW slot antenna with coaxial and microstrip feed operating in 5,6 GHz frequency in Wi-Fi frequency band of IEEE 802.11ac standard. For design of these antennas were used calsic methods and each of this parts were optimised in CST Microwave Studio. In this programme were optimised parameters of each part to occupy widest bandwidth of antenna, which was in conflict with the proper function of antenna. All antennas were compare between each other in light of selected parameters and suitable antenna has been chosen.
Textile Microwave Components
Hotovec, Jakub ; Láčík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Vašina, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on possibilities of designing components integrated on substrate, where substrate is fabric. It contains theoretical information about the SIW structure, measurement of dieletric parameters of three fabrics, design, synthesis and production of waveguide, a three port divider and a band-pass filter on three substrates. For simulation CST Microwave Studio is used
Coaxial probes for permittivity measurement of materials
Hub, Michal ; Urbanec, Tomáš (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the measuring complex permittivity of dielectrics using a coaxial probe with an open end in the frequency range of 300 MHz to 3 GHz. It is non-invasive measurement method can be widely used during the research of dielectrics. There are describe various approaches to coaxial probe design with respect to the expected size of complex permitivity in this work. Based on the studies available materials was proposed several probes with a focus on the method of measuring the low-loss dielectrics with help reflective plate. The probes were simulated to measure the reflectance in Design CST MICROWAVE STUDIO. Thereof can calculate the value of complex permittivity. This document lists only those probes that show good results and are prerequisite for the realization of practical measurement.
Influence of hazardous EM fields on large objects
Klučka, Jaroslav ; Kovács, Peter (referee) ; Řezníček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with simulation of influences of electromagnetic field on an aircraft via computer program PAM-CEM. The aim of the simulation is verification of conditions for placing equipment and cables in chosen places. There were chosen two outer interfering electromagnetic fields: High Intensity Radiated Fields HIRF and a lightning bolt. During the simulation of HIRF, the plane was radiated by outer electromagnetic field. The decomposition of inner electromagnetic field was monitored during the exposure. Then, the electrical intensity was measured in three places, where the location of susceptible electronical devices was predicted. During the simulation of lightning bolt only indirect effects were taken into consideration. Current impulse was implemented into the skin of the aircraft and the decomposition of surface current was monitored.
Dielectric resonator antenna
Štarha, Michal ; Pokorný, Michal (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
This project deals with using of dielectric resonators as antennas. There are discussed possibilities feed of these antennas, as feed probe, feed of microstrip line, aperture coupling, or coplanar waveguide. Then there is a simple example design dielectric resonator antenna and its modeling in CST Microwave Studio. The designed antenna is fabricated and measured.
Circularly polarized antenna array for ISM frequency band 24 GHz
Liyambo, Evans ; Cupal, Miroslav (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
Substrate integrated waveguide filter
Vyskočil, Jiří ; Tkadlec, Roman (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
In this thesis is discussed a filter design of a band-pass substrate integrated waveguide filter on the frequency of 5 GHz. It also includes design theory, filter synthesis, filter analysis in the program CST Microwave Studio® and the results of measurement on a vector network analyzer. The analysis results are compared with the measured results. Good agreement between simulated and measured results is observed.
Network for high-frequency on-body communication
Halas, David ; Láčík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kokolia, Martin (advisor)
This work focuses on the design of a network for high-frequency communication on the human body. The thesis is focused on the design of two-band antennas, namely 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz. The antenna is integrated into the textile and works close to the human body. The introduction describes the problem of spreading electromagnetic waves along the human body. Further, the thesis deals with the applicability of different types of antennas for integration on the textile substrate. Based on the simulations performed, a suitable antenna is selected for the purpose. The simulation program used is the CST Microwave Studio. In the end, the antennas were optimized, subsequently manufactured and their parameters measured.
Experimental tags for UHF RFID applications
Pacholík, Vladimír ; Holek, Karel (referee) ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with RFID tags design. It comprises an overview of the RDIF technology while focusing upon the passive tags in UHF band. The CST Microwave studio software has been used for draft simulations. The resulting tags have been subjected to parameter measuring – the reflection coefficient, the minimum capacity needed to switch on the tag, the maximum reading distance. The influence of the proximity of metal objects and other materials has also been examined.
Low-profile magnetic antenna
Buriánek, František ; Všetula, Petr (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis presents design and simulation of low-pro?le magnetic antenna in CST Microwave Studio program. The simulation procedure is described here, including all the settings required for proper operation of the simulation. In the next part the work deals with the selection of the appropriate material for the antenna, its design and methods of manufacturing.
