Corporate Social Responsibility: CEZ Group Case Study of its CSR Activities in Years 2009 - 2010

The main goal of this project is to describe the concept of social responsible corporation in the area of the Czech Republic. This work starts with description of Corporate Social Responsibility concept, briefly following its historical development. On the bases of several definitions of theoretical concepts, its main parts and aims are set. One after another, each part is analyzed from different points of views and every theoretical part is compared to existing projects and actions of ČEZ corporation. Economic and legal responsibility contains for example aim to gain higher profit, respecting laws and directives, customer and stakeholder communication or employee policy. Social responsibility concerns charity or social development support. Environmental part focuses on protecting nature and other green issues. The effect of Corporate Social Responsibility of ČEZ corporation is compared with public opinion study results. After, the effect of corporate social responsible behavior is analyzed.
