Energy balance of biomass heating plant
Žmolík, Václav ; Šen, Hugo (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with a design of a biomass heating plant combinating a Rankin-Clausius cyklus and a CHP unit. The CHP unit fuel is a biogas and the boiler fuel is a wooden chip. The adapted CHP unit regenerates feed-water of the R-C cycles. This design is technicaly and economicalty compared with the Rankin-Clausius cycle without feed-water regeneration by the CHP unit.
Heat sources for industrial buildings
Vejnarová, Nikola ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Formánek, Marian (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the design of the new heat source of the existing building. The first part deals with the heat sources and fuels used in the Czech Republic. The second part includes design of three variants of heat sources: gas boilers, cogeneration unit with the electric boilers and cogeneration unit with gas boilers. The individual variations are also evaluated in terms of user comfort, space requirements or economy of operation. The third part includes measurement and evaluation of internal environment of the dining hall.
Modern Biogas Station as Part of "Smart Regions"
Horák, Jakub ; Pavel,, Milčák (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of computational model of a biogas plant and its use in the concept of intelligent region with focusing on district heating and cooling network. The introduction contains review of technology used in the biogas plant. This review covers the description of modern biogas plants and determination of the energy and technology parameters for computational model of biogas plant. The next part of thesis describes analyze of the dynamics of the operation and the possibilities of using waste heat from biogas plant. The last and also the most important part is based on design of computational model of a biogas plant and design of connection of a biogas plant to the district heating and cooling network.
The combined production of heat and electricity
Talač, Michal ; Formánek,, Marián (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of a cogeneration unit, its design and operational optimization. The theoretical part explains the principles of cogeneration and the associated advantages and disadvantages, also describes the different types of units and their main components and their suitability for use in various types of buildings. The second part of this thesis deals with a design of cogeneration unit in selected building. Design of cogeneration unit consists of evaluation of the object itself, through the selection of suitable units, optimalization of a selected range of cogeneration units, to the final financial analysis. The part of the thesis are also project drawings, which shows the current status of the heating system and subsequently scheme with the possible involvement of cogeneration units in the existing system.
The combined energy and heat production
Žižka, Josef ; Vlček, Michal (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The intention of my thesis lies in the design of optimal cogeneration unit for the selected object. Economically evaluate the proposed options and the variant processed into a building permit.
Cogeneration
Krčálová, Petra ; Fiedler, Jan (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes the design of CHP (combined heat and power) co-generation unit for a particular object. The first part of the thesis is a theoretical introduction to the importance of co-generation it’s advantages and / or disadvantages, the possibilities of it’s use and description of the technology of co-generation plants. The second part of the thesis contains the entire design of cogeneration unit for several different types of the coverage of energy needed. The economic evaluation was used (with prices paid for individual energies are determined by the ERU for 2013 and 2014) to select the most suitable type of the co-generation unit and therefore the best investment.
