Analysis of Economy for Selected Municipalities

This master’s thesis deals with the evaluation of quality of life in Machová. Needs of inhabitants are detected with the help of a questionnaire survey. Partial target is to analyze the economy of selected municipality. The work is divided into three sections. The first section describes the theory of municipal budget and the issue of internal and external environment of Machová. In the second, analytical part of the thesis is presented selected municipality, an analysis of its financial performance for the past seven years and SLEPTE and SWOT analysis. In the third, the proposal part is a questionnaire survey of citizens' satisfaction. The results of the questionnaire and results of analysis is used to formulate proposals to improve the quality of life in Machová and to improve its economy situation.

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of evaluating management in the city of Kunovice. The first part is focused on the theoretical knowledge on communities, budgetary system and municipal budget. The second part deals with the basic characteristics on the city of Kunovice, next it deals with the budget analysis of the city and comparisons of income and expenditure for the last four years economy. The third part contains my own proposed solutions to improve the management of the above city.

The second part deals with basic characteristic of the municipality Tvrdonice. In third part are analysed incomes and expenses of the municipality budget in the last four years. The last part contains own ideas for improvement of the management of the municipality.

This thesis analyses the economy of the South Moravian Region in years 2011 – 2015. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the position of the regions in the Czech Republic, budgetary system, budgetary structure, budget of the region and indebtedness of regions. The second part of the thesis contains basic information about the South Moravian Region and the analysis of its economy including indebtedness. The third part contains own proposals for effective management of indebtedness.

The first part of the thesis contains the theoretical basis of the work, which define the basic concepts of management of the municipality. The following section involves a brief characteristics of the city Hluk, SWOT analysis of the city and budget analysis of each year during the observed period. In the third part of this thesis I try to propose measures that would reduce spending or increase the city budget.
