Financial analysis of the company Model Obaly, a. s.

This bachelor thesis is focused on financial analysis of the company Model Obaly, a. s., whose main business activity is production of cardboard packaging. The sources of information are published financial statements for the period 2010 to 2015. The aim of the thesis is to determinate the financial health and to evaluate the overall financial situation of this company. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the methods and defines selected financial indicators. The practical part deals with the methods described above to the selected company. Above all these are vertical and horizontal analysis of financial statements of the company. In this part, there are also calculated and interpreted values described financial indicators. It includes selected creditworthy and bankruptcy models which along with other matters identified to evaluate the financial condition and stability of the company.
Financial analysis of LAPEK a.s.

This thesis's objective is to analyse financial health of LAPEK, a.s. The sources used for this analysis are financial statements from the period 2009 to 2013 posted at www.justice.cz. Financial health as a whole is assessed in compliance with several aspects of financial health; these are effectiveness, liquidity, solvency, activity and stability. The applied ratios are later used in two models -- bankruptcy model IN 95 and creditworthy Model of financial health. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical, it consists of descriptions of sources, users and methodology, and furthermore it contains a catalogue of ratios used in the practical part. The second part is focused on the financial analysis itself and it assesses the financial health based on bankruptcy and creditworthy model.
