Krátká, Tereza ; SEIDL, Jiří (advisor) ; HERMAN, František (referee)
The title of my bachelor thesis is Ars rediviva, history and concert activities. The aim is to map the history and activities of Czech chamber music ensemble Ars rediviva. Ensemble, which had a direct impact on the return of early music on the concert stages of Czechoslovakia in the 50s of the 20th century, and development of interpretation of early music in Czechoslovakia. Ensemble Ars rediviva was one of the longest established chamber ensembles on the Czech scene (1951-2005). Interpreted almost exclusively the music of the Baroque and Classicism (the exception was some works by contemporary Czech composers whose premiere Ars rediviva performed). The first section presents the founder of the ensemble Milan Munclinger. The second chapter examines the beginnings of the action of the ensemble on the music scene. The third chapter focuses on personnel changes in the ensemble during the operation, the fourth chapter focuses on concert activities of the ensemble and repertoire.
