Aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse possibilities and conditions of tourism developement in the municipality through animation of cultural heritage. The thesis focuses on the theory of animation and related fields and theories of destination management. The thesis describes Týnec near Klatovy and focuses on its cultural heritage and conditions for tourism developement. The thesis describes possibilities of animation of immovable landmarks in the municipality. Animated objects are connected in one ensemble and implanted in wider context.

Thesis explores the influence of current culture in the development and bloom of Poděbrady's castle site during last decades. Theoretical part is focused on the meaning of key terms as Animation of cultural heritage, Animateur, Living culture (Creative arts), Cultural identity, Local culture. It deals with the question "Why to animate?" The practical part depicts historical development of this national cultural monument from its origins till our days including its proprietary relations. It describes cultural activities which take place in the castle and its neighborhood, the influence of Podebrady spa at cultural live in this area. It characterizes the emergence of the cultural and information centre, its program and it shows that this centre creates the source of living culture of castle site.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of the shor-term international voluntary projects and its position in the cultural field. The main goal of this thesis was to create a complex theoretical dokument, which would describe the area of the international volunteering, its juristical requirments, organizational structure and motivators. The practical part implants the projects of workcamps into the cultural field, creates a new categorization of projects and provides two particular case studies from the cultural field.

Contemporary circus as a method of animation

The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to introduce the contemporary circus as a method of animation. The thesis is divided into two parts: a theoretical and a practical one. In the theoretical part, I am defining the terms contemporary circus and animation, and describing the history of the contemporary circus. In the practical part, the festival called "Kratochvílení" is presented as a method of animation of the cultural landmark. The conclusion summarizes the positive and the negative effects of the festival on the landmark and describes the economical productivity.
