Influence of Radishchev 's reference on chosen russian authors of the 19th century

This Bachelor Thesis is based on a well-known fact, specifically, continuity and allusion, which are really important features of Russian classical literature. In other words, the principle, that the authors of different times were making open dialogues between each other. In the thesis the work The Journey from St. Petersburg to Moscow written by Aleksander Nikolayevich Radishchev is analyzed. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the period of time the book originates from, specifies closer the genre, notices the acceptance of it by critics of that times. And finally it also follows up Radishchev's political opinions that can be easily perceived as an irreconcilable dispute between two main personalities associated with the ideas of Enlightenment - reformer of society Radishchev and Catherine II, reigning empress. In practical part, there are found, based on comparative analysis of complex of short stories The Hunting Sketches by Ivan Sergeyevich Turgenev and The Pit by Aleksandr Ivanovich Kuprin, some connections and similarities with respect to Radishchev's ideas. No matter, that The Pit was written after the abolition of serfdom; however, the two other books were written before the abolition. The Life of an Aristocrat on Noble Residence in the 19th Century, on the Example of Fürstenberg

1 Abstract The Bachelor's thesis deals with the way of life of the Austrian empire aristocracy in the 19th century, namely the Fürstenbergs of the Křivoklát-Lány lineage. It focuses on the important moments in lives of the aristocrats (marriage policy within the Austrian upper classes, family preservation strategies etc.). In the time of great social changes and weakening of the traditional roles of the aristocrats, choosing partners only within the members of aristocracy seemed to be an appropriate solution, how to maintain the existence of this social elite even in the future. The thesis also analyses the circumstances concerning the reconstruction of the castle Křivoklát after the fire in 1826, during which the specialists started to play increasingly more significant role. The context of the contemporary trends and different opinions on architecture are also taken into consideration. Another important part of this work is the issue of nationality, which is closely connected with the role of German aristocracy within the ethnically tensed society of the 19th century. Fashion Victorian era as a source of inspiration

Master's thesis: Victorian era fashion theoretical and practical source of inspiration. Theoretical part of thesis explores fashion in 19 th century in UK in the context of contemporary facts. Thesis describes a development in particular parts of women's clothing which reflects former spirit and culture. In the next chapter is discussed how Victorian England has inspired nowadays fashion and its impact on modern subcultures. There are additionally added images for deeper understanding of this complex phenomena. Practical part of the thesis consists of development of ball jointed doll which was inspired by Victorian fashion. In addition, it includes sketches and workflow with visualization.
Religious life in Třešť in the second half of the 19 th century and the first half of the 20 th century. Congregation of the Poor School Sisters of Notre Dame and its activity in Třešť
KAPOUNOVÁ, Marie
The thesis depicts life of the parish in Třešť in the second half of the 19th century and in the first half of the 20th century. The emphasis is placed on nuns of the Congregation of the Poor School Sisters de Notre Dame who worked in Třešť from 1885 till 1946. This thesis is further focused on pastors from Třešť and also on local churches and their economic background. Finally, there are also described changes in conditions of the parish, especially after 1918. To elaborate this thesis both sources of the Diocesan Archive of the Bishopric of Brno in Rajhrad and of the State District Archive Jihlava were perused. Documents provided by the Archive of the Congregation of the Poor School Sisters de Notre Dame in Hradec Králové also meant a valuable contribution to this thesis. The aim of the thesis is to disclose so far unknown or non-compiled history of the parish in Třešť.
