Černá, Veronika ; Maršálek, Jakub (advisor) ; Popelka, Miroslav (referee)
(in English): The Focus of this thesis lies on East Asia in the first half of the first millenium. The difference between true jades and pseudo-jades is explained as well as the physiological characteristics, source places and ancient techniques of jade-craft. Following chapter is focusing on regional history and the difference between advanced yet decaying Chinese Empire and the rest of the region. The societies on Korean peninsula and Japanese archipelago are far from centralized state. The cultural differences are to be seen in third chapter, since Chinese literature has already very long tradition. In Korea and Japan on the other hand the first written histories are being made during the course of first millenium. Last chapter follows another bit discrepancy between luxurious Chinese jade-ware and burial suits and simple magatama jewels in Japan and a Korea alike. There was discovered no connection between the chinese jade-working tradition and the rest of the region.
