Patočka's Philosophy of Literature

The work deals with an analysis of Patočka's conception of literature and writing. It aims to explain basic arguments which are necessary for understanding Patočka's conception of art. It tries to show us the way how literature helps us to see the meaning of the world. The work also deals with the relations between literature and conception of life movements, between language and world and with the relation between literature and myth. The purpose of this work is to demonstrate the uniqueness and exceptionality of literature compared to other types of art in the work of Jan Patočka.
