Marketing activities in the Jewish Quarter in Prague

This thesis is divided into two parts. In the first (theoretical) part I deal with the theoretical basis of the following practical part, a marketing of services, marketing and communication mix. In the practical part I apply it to the specific example of The Jewish Quarter in Prague, which is made up of two organizations -- The Jewish Community of Prague and The Jewish Museum in Prague. The aim of this thesis is to describe current marketing activities of The Jewish Quarter in Prague and evaluate their quality and efficiency. Based on these findings and the findings of the marketing research, I determine recommendations to the new marketing activities in the future.
The Social activities of Jewish Community of Prague

The work deals with the specifics and religious solutions of social activities of the Jewish community in Prague. The first part briefly describes the written and oral sources of Judaism with an emphasis on social and charitable activities contained in the texts. In the second part there are described characteristics and history of the Jewish community in Prague, the third chapter deals with social activities themselves engaged in various social facilities under the community administration. The last part is dedicated to the specifics identified in social services and their superiority compared to the other social organizations. All social facilities are kept in accordance with the laws on social services, but their quality, in particular their focus on victims of the Shoah, surpass the level non-Jewish social facilities services.
Restoring the Prague Jewish community since 1989

The theme of this bachelor thesis is present life in the Prague Jewish community. The concept of this work is to provide a comprehensive picture of the development of the Prague Jewish community after the Velvet Revolution. In the first part is briefly de-scribed information on events relevant to Jewish population after the World War II and during communist regime by the year 1989. In the following chapters are described the development and renewal of the Prague Jewish community after year 1989. These chap-ters are devoted to the structure of activities of the Jewish community in Prague, further the structure of Lauder schools, kosher food, the Federation of Jewish communities and its affiliated organizations. There were also mentioned the Jewish Museum and Jewish monuments such as synagogues.
