Participle and participle contructions in Spanish with regard to the acquisition of structures (in Czech students)

This bachelor thesis follows the Spanish participle, its functions and use by Czech students of the Spanish language. The work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, there is explained the morphology and all the functions of the participle are explained. Each function of the participle is represented by examples. The practical part is focusing on analysis of language levels, and then on quantification and classification of errors that are present in the learners corpora of essays written by the students of the Faculty of Arts at the University of South Bohemia.
Respondents of internationalisms in professional texts

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is The respondents of internationalisms in professional texts. The theoretical part describes the concept of internationalism and puts it into context. It also focuses on the characteristics of professional texts. In the practical part, the respondents of internationalisms are retrieved using the parallel corpus InterCorp and then analyzed.
Respondents of the Spanish gerunds (contrastive corpus analysis)

This bachelor's thesis deals with The Respondents of the Spanish gerunds (contrastive corpus analysis). The first part of the thesis brings out the existence of three nominal forms of verbs in Spanish. Furthermore, the focus is put on gerunds, as they are described from different points of view of Czech and Spanish grammar books. The second part compares, using texts contained in the Czech National Corpus InterCorp v12, how are selected representative samples of gerunds being translated from Spanish to Czech language (texts is maintained); with what frequency, and in what types of texts they occur. The aim of this work is to monitor reciprocal response of the phenomenon in both languages.
Infinitives and infinitive clauses in Spanish with regard to the acquisition of structures

This bachelor thesis is focused on the infinitive, its function in the sentence and the construction that the infinitive can form. The thesis is divided into two parts, firstly, the theoretical part, which builds the theoretical foundation for the practical part. The theoretical part aims to repeat impersonal forms in Spanish and specifically focuses on the infinitive and the constructions that are formed with the infinitive. In the practical part we summarize important points from the theoretical part and we are going to focus on the very goal of this bachelor thesis. The aim of this work is to design an annotation system for later use in the analysis of works in the student corpus, followed by its testing on several student works. The work is supplemented by a table with an overview of expected knowledge about the infinitive at different language levels according to the Plan Curricular de Instituto Cervantes (PCIC).
Comparative constructions in Spanish with regard to the acquisition of structures

This bachelor thesis focuses on comparative constructions in Spanish. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains the issue of gradation of adjectives and adverbs, distinguishes classes of comparation in Spanish (superior, inferior, and equal grade of quality) and presents the constructions in corresponding examples. The constructions are also discussed here from the semantic point of view, because in addition to the comparative meaning, they also have other secondary meanings. The practical part is analysing language levels and knowledge of comparations at individual levels. The analysis was performed using the study plan of the Cervantes Institute. According to the results of the analysis, a design of an annotation system for comparative constructions is created, as well as an annotation system of possible errors in the constructions.
Neologisms in the time of the "coronavirus crisis". Comparison of Czech and Spanish.

This thesis deals with the ways of formation of neologisms during the coronavirus crisis in the years 2019-21. After the initial introduction of neologism context and word-formation processes that occur in language, the thesis will focus on certain vocabulary connected with the coronavirus which occurs in the regular discourse of Spanish and Czech speakers.
Student slang: formal and semantic analysis of Spanish in comparison with Czech
ŠIMONÍKOVÁ, Bára
This bachelor's thesis focuses on students' slang in both the Spanish and the Czech language, where it is further illuminated by semantic and formal analysis. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical section deals with the characteristic linguistic features of student slang, which is primarily defined from a lexicological point of view and also presents the most common processes of student slang formation. The practical section uses a questionnaire survey to record the slang and informal expressions currently used by Czech and Spanish university students, and subsequently clarifies them by means of a comparative analysis. The work is supplemented by a small Spanish- Czech glossary of student "slangisms".

This bachelor's thesis is called Respondents of the Aktionsart category "saturation" (contrastive corpus analysis) and its aim is to compare the categories of verbal aspect, lexical aspect (Aktionsart) and saturation in the Czech and Spanish language. It is comprised of two parts - a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the comparison of the categories, their definitions and coherence in both languages. Moreover, it examines the means of their realization in the verb, again in both languages. The basis of the practical part is the work with the newest version of the parallel corpus InterCorp, which is used to perform a contrastive analysis of the translation counterparts of saturation in Czech and Spanish.
Anteposition and postposition of adjectives (contrastive analysis)

The topic of the thesis is the position of adjectives in the sentence, specifically issues of anteposition and postposition in Spanish language. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to the presentation of the adjectives themselves, description of their functions and qualities and to theoretical overview of the rules which adjectives follow to set their position. The second part is focused on the group of adjectives which change their meaning according to their position. The research was made through the database Český národní korpus which we used to look up concrete adjectives in the text. Then we studied their translation and assessed it.
Anglicisms in online video games in Spanish and in Czech

The objective of our thesis is to describe the topic of anglicisms in the on-line videogames area used by spanish and czech gamers, which are analysed in the practical part. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part includes the definiton of anglicisms, on-line videogames, the issue of anglicisms in this area and also the mechanisms of adaptation in spanish and czech. In the practical part we deal with the analysis of anglicisms from the internet page twitch.com and corpus Araneum Bohemicum Maius and Araneum Hispanicum Maius. After the analysis of every anglicism follows a bilingual glossary and a summary in spanish language.
