Developing a global partnership for development in contemporary Sub-Saharan Africa

The thesis deals with the Goal 8 of the Millennium Development Goals called "Develop a global partnership for development" and monitor its fulfilment in the Sub-Saharan Africa region. The emphasis is laid on three important areas included in the Goal 8 and these are official development assistance, access of developing countries on markets of developed countries and external debt burden of developing states. The aim of the thesis is to capture present development in these areas by selected official indicators, which were set by United Nations, compare their current development with the initial year 1990 and on the basis of available data from past three years assess probable future progress in the mentioned areas. Final part of the thesis includes case study of selected Sub-Saharan countries, Ghana and Lesotho.
India in the World Trade Organization

The Bachelor Thesis addresses to India and its treatment within the World Trade Organization. Authoress is concerned with Indian trade policy, stressing the tariffs issue, the analysis of Indian approach to the negotiations about trade liberalization and its stances to the agriculture, industrial production, services and intellectual property rights. She construes also Indian disputes in the World Trade Organization and tries to determine if deeper trade liberalization would be beneficial for this country.

Purpose of this diploma thesis is to analyze foreign aid as a stabile part of nations expenditures of all developed countries since 60's. But at the same time foreign aid not being important enough for developed countries to manage it more effectively. This diploma thesis analyses among others development of different economic approaches on this topic, financial flows of this sort since the beginning and also an analysis of foreign aid as whole as well as some of its parts. I`m also trying to find reasons why developed nations provide foreign aid and also motives for accepting it by developing nations. Also trade liberalisation is described as the only way of solving foreign aid poor effeciency.
WTO and regionalism - relationship of multilateralism and regional liberalization

This paper describes development of multilateralism and regionalism as a means of liberalization of international trade. The first chapter gives description of development of multilateral liberalization since the end of the Second World War till today. Second chapter deals with the development of regionalism and it aims especially at it's general characteristics. The last chapter depicts mutual relationship between regionalism and multilateralism and their influence on liberalization of international trade and understates possible future development in this relationship.
