Zhodnocení zařazených plemenných hřebců v chovu českého teplokrevníka po roce 2000
Kotková, Simona
The aim of the thesis was to create a literature search of the Czech warmblood bred, important breeds involved in its breeding and subsequent analysis of breeding stallion approved for Czech warmblood breeding in individual years from 2000 to the present. The basic database consisted of 530 stallions belonging to 14 different breeds. Out of the total number of sires, the Czech warmblood horse was the most represented during the entire period of 22 years, at 31,13 %. Of the foreign sport breeds, the Holstein horse breed was the most represented at 15,28 %. The average sire was included in breeding for 11 years, while during his breeding period he produced an average od 26,08 offspring. Of the total number of 530 horses, 26,23 % were stallions from local stud farms (ZH) and 73,77 % were private stallions (S). Of the total number of offspring (13,825) of all sires, ZH offspring accounted for 38,68 % and S offspring for 51,32 %. The largest representation of own jumping and dressage performance was in jumping performance S-ST** 26,98 % and in dressage L 4,72 %.
Zhodnocení významu plemeníka Scyris v chovu českého teplokrevníka
Kubíková, Zuzana
The aim of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the significance of the stud horse Scyris in the breeding of the Czech Warmblood. To evaluate the stud horse we used his offspring born in the years 2011 to 2016. Two underlying databases were then created in the programme Microsoft Office Excel 2007. The first was used to assess linear regression and the second to assess correlation using the Pearson correlation coefficient. Escalation of the linear regression and the Pearson correlation coefficient was carried out using the statistics software UNISTAT 6.5. All of the data entered in the underlying database were acquired from the website of the Association of Czech Warmblood Breeders. From the total information obtained about stallion 6062 Scyris (POL) it is evident that he was most favoured by Czech Warmblood breeders in the year 2013. Furthermore, it was determined that there is a higher percentage of colts than fillies among his offspring. When monitoring exterior variability in 14 daughters that have been assigned a class and their dams, we recorded the minimum, maximum and mean values of the basic body measurements both numerically and graphically. On the basis of aggregate statistics from these measurements, it can be stated that the dams are unbalanced in exterior terms, and stallion 606 Scyris (POL) did not succeed in balancing out this variability in his daughters. In the next step, the correlation dependence of individual body measurements was assessed in daughters and dams. It was determined that there is medium correlation dependence between the attributes KVP (tape withers height), KVH (stick withers height) and Ohol (cannon bone circumference), so it can be said that the influence of dams on the bone mass and withers height of daughters is probable but is not conclusive. With the attribute OH (chest circumference) low correlation dependence between dams and daughters was recorded. This suggests that the dams have a lesser influence on the bulkiness of daughters, and that stallion 6062 Scyris (POL) has a refining effect on the build of his offspring. When assessing the linear regression, we recorded a decreasing tendency of the regression coefficient with regard to offspring class which exhibits 16% reliability and according to our test emerges as statistically conclusive. So the assessed class of daughters of the sire 6062 Scyris (POL) does not improve but on the contrary, it decreases slightly. A high value for the downward trend was recorded with the jump index of the dams and is documented by 21,66 % reliability. Our test emerged as highly statistically conclusive and we can conclude that the mares mated with stallion 6062 Scyris (POL) are of relatively low quality in performance terms. Our final step was to analyse the colouring of offspring, where it was determined that grey colouring was present in 58 % of the offspring. On the basis of an evaluation of the dams and offspring, it was concluded that stallion 6062 Scyris (POL) carries a heterozygous set of alleles in the G gene, which influences the grey colouring of horses.
Vyhodnocení vybraných hřebců českého teplokrevníka podle kvality dcer
Vlášková, Tereza
The diploma thesis deals with an evaluation of chosen Czech warm-blooded stallions based on the quality of their daughters. A collection of 474 mares which are registered in a Czech warmblood studbook and passed a basic performance test of three years old mares was chosen. Following information was collected: breed, birth year, inclusion year, father, jump index of father, plus points for class, type, exterior, performance and jump index. Collected data was processed in programs Microsoft Excel 2016 and UNISTAT 6.5, with the use of a general linear GLM model with a fixed effect. The GLM model was used to analyse the influence of individual factors on the dependent variables (class, type, exterior and performance of the mares). Subsequently, in case of statistically significant influence of the observed effect, the differences between monitored individuals were determined by multiple comparison according to the Tukey-B method and Scheffe method. For the class and exterior, the best rated mares were after the stallion 2997 Aristo Z (x̄ = 7,78 points). The best mark for category were also given the mares after father 2997 Aristo Z (x̄ = 7,90 points). The most performing and stable offspring has the stallion 1028 Manillon Rouge (x̄ = 7,94 points). Best jump indexes have again the daughters of the stallion 2997 Aristo Z (x̄ = 123,2 points). Through the general linear module, it was found out that the father has statistically highly conclusive influence on the class, exterior and performance of daughters (mares), since P ≤ 0,01. Other factors do not have statistically conclusive influence on dependent variables.
Zhodnocení vlivu plemeníka Aristo Z v českém chovu
Komoňová, Lucie
The main aim of this thesis was to evaluate the influence of 2997 Aristo Z stud horse in Czech horse breeding. The general database listed 357 offspring in the Czech and Slovak Warmblood Studbook, all born between 2009 and 2018. The relevant data has been collected on the websites of the Association of Czech Warmblood Breeders, Association of Slovakian Warmblood Breeders in the Czech Republic, and in the Central Register of Horses in Slatiňany. The database has been compiled manually in Mi-crosoft Office Excel 2016 and the acquired data were processed by the general linear model with the subsequent testing by the Tukey-B method, if the observed effect was proved to be statistically significant. In this process, the UNISTAT 6.5. Mathematical and Statistical Package was used. Collected data proves that stallion 2997 Aristo Z was the most favorite among the breeders in 2008. Furthermore, a comparison of stallions and mares body measurements was performed, as well as point measurements for class, type, exterior and performance in mares. It can be concluded, that from the exterior point of view, 2997 Aristo Z stal-lion has proper offspring, albeit very variable. His daughters demonstrate high class, type, exterior and performance score. When comparing his own jumping index with the indexes of his daughters and sons, he was evaluated as a worse. Furthermore, a general linear model was applied to find a statistically significant influence of year of birth and year of studbook registration to withers height stick. In this case, a statistically conclusive influence of sex on the jumping index and influence of performance points on stud-book listing has been proved. Subsequent Tukey-B testing proved that mares listed in the General studbook have statistically significantly higher performance points when compared to the mares listed in the studbook. Another Tukey-B test was aimed at the statistically significant influence of sex on the jumping index. It has been proved that mares have statistically significantly higher jumping index than stallions and geldings. All the conclusions listed above are evaluated and discussed in the thesis.
Zhodnotenie špecializačných skúšok pre kone zaradené do hiporehabilitácie
Slobodová, Lucia
The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the specialization examinations. Each horse for hiporehabilitation purposes is specially selected and trained in a composed Specialized Exam. I'm watching the so-called a selection of effects that affects the results of horses included in the trials and their subsequent use in hiporehabilitation. A database of 195 horses of different breeds was compiled, where different parameters of their body were evaluated on the basis of a linear description, and therefore specialized examinations for horses included in hiporehabilitation were performed. Based on the results of the specialization tests, the collected data were followed by statistical processing and evaluation of the effects of specialization tests for horses in hiporehabilitation. I divided the horses into 6 groups by type to better compare the necessary effects. Then, in the Gretl statistical program, I evaluated the individual parameters of horses that correlate together. I have given both positive and negative values, from which I conclude that one variable is smaller, the other is bigger. Various groups correlate different parameters, depending on the type of the horse. Then, I evaluated the step and trot in the individual groups. In the statistical program I created a so-called thermal maps, where the color correlated degrees of color were, the more red the color, the more the parameters correlate together. Only mares and geldings participate in the specialization tests. The most suitable age for inclusion is 5 years.
Zhodnocení využití koní plemene český teplokrevník v soutěžních disciplínách skoky, drezura a všestrannost
Čermáková, Veronika
This bachelor thesis deals with the usage of the Czech Warmblood horse breed in competitive disciplines of show jumping, dressage and eventing. The thesis comprises of breeding of the Czech Warmblood, its recent and past usage and also contains descriptions of its characteristics, observed properties and breeding goals. Furthermore, the history, rules and judging of particular competitions are also being dealt with. The last chapter discuss the utilization of the Czech Warmblood breed in particular competitions, moreover, significant contests and successful riders and horses representing the Czech Republic abroad are further mentioned as well. Statistics show that the numbers of horses are constantly increasing. In the Czech Republic during the year 1955 there were 2 134 horses competing. Comparing to year 2015, the numbers increased to 5 059 racing horses. The popularity of the Czech Warmblood also grows rapidly as it represented 40.3 % of all breeds that competed in 2015. That is almost a half. In comparison, the Slovakian Warmblood represented 9.1 % and the English Warmblood was represented by 4.8 %. The Czech Warmblood outnumbered the other breeds also in 2008 and 2014. The representation was 40 % in 2008 and 42.5 % in 2014. Czech Warmblood is mostly used in disciplines of show jumping and eventing. In 2008 in the category show jumping, the Czech Warmblood was represented by 56 % of a hundred of horses and the number in the category eventing is 42 % of a hundred of horses. Nevertheless, foreign breeds are growing in popularity as well. Best examples of these horse breeds are the Oldenburg horse, the Hanoverian horse, the Belgian Warmblood, the Irish Hunter or the Holsteiner horse.
Porovnání výkonnosti nejvýznamnějších rodin a linií ŠCHK - Měník
Kubištová, Barbora
The purpose of this dissertation was the evaluation of the influence of families on exterior and performance features of their offspring and the evaluation of lines which function in aristocratic breeding in Měník. Acquired data were separated into three databases and processed in Statistics 12 Soft program, through Analysis of Dispersion ANOVA. For purpose of this dissertation were chosen 8 ongoing families and two most significant stallions 1028 Manillon Rouge and 2626 Sahib Kubišta of the recent times. The best results shows the oldest family No. 1 Lecha - the founder 68 Lecha with 52 represented evaluated mares. Also family No. 2 Forma shows very good and balanced results the founder Forma with 20 represented evaluated mares. Results confirm positively importance of conservation of families in breeding. Long term homogeneous families demonstrably confirm the influence on evaluation of exterior indicators KVH, OH and Ohol which directly relate with health and efficiency of evaluated horses. I deal with evaluation of the 1028 Manillon Rouge stallion's influence in the second database. I rate here concretely his offspring and its influence in individual families which are processed in the first database. The result of this database is highly statistical demonstrated effect of sex performance features PK a ZZV. In this case mares have positive influence on exterior and performance features. Mutual influence of the offspring of the father 1028 Manillon Rouge and rated families was not statistically proven. The third database evaluates and mutually compares 1028 Manillon Rouge's and 2626 Sahib Kubišta's daughters. In this database was demonstrated statistical stallion's influence on their daughters again. Results with the biggest difference were demonstrated in the performance features ZZV. Positive influence on its daughters was proven by a stallion 1028 Manillon Rouge. Thanks to these results we can this stallion 1028 Manillon Rouge call as an innovator of breeding.
Porovnání výkonnostních parametrů vybraných hřebců a jejich dcer
Hortová, Petra
In this work I focused on the Czech warmblood breed, its history and combustibility characteristics. The aim of the thesis is to compare the performance parameters stallions, their daughters and description of the performance tests of the Czech warmblood. The basis for database was selected stallions stallions list, with permission for bree-ding in the Czech Republic in 2015. The work was focused on the performance parame-ters of sires and their daughters, while I conducted an evaluation of whether stallions are worse or innovators. The data were processed using Excel and Statistics 12, in which I-selected stallions ranked alphabetically. Then I developed a table, where they are evaluated and compared the average value of the relevant class mares with stallions (father).
