Short circuit current of synchronous generator
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Orságová, Jaroslava (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the problematics of short-circuit current of synchronous machine. The first section focuses on the theoretical process of short-circuit current of synchronous machine and describes how this transient process changes throughout it's duration and with what reactances and time constants it is defined. Subsequently, this section deals with the methodics of tests of the snychronous machine, which may be used to set it's reactances. The second part of the work focuses on measurement of the short-circuit current in a specific synchronous machine. Further, there are measurements of processes of the short-circuit in time and their analysis. The last section of the thesis deals with the simulation of short-circuit current process. The simulation is ran by the Matlab/Simulink software. Simulated processes of short-circuit are then compared with the results of measurements from the previous section of the thesis.
Characterization of perovskite solar cell materials by transient techniques
Nakládal, Martin ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the study of the lifetime of charge carriers in perovskite single crystals. The principle of perovskite solar cells is formulated, their main structures are characterized and the history of the development of perovskite solar cells is summarized, especially in terms of efficiency. The properties of perovskite single crystals with perovskite solar cells are compared. For measurement purposes, transient methods, impedance spectroscopy, load characteristics and the dependence of sensitivity and photocurrent on the wavelength of incident radiation are described. The practical part deals with the method of measuring and evaluating the lifetime of charge carriers in the investigated perovskite single crystals.
Response time of thermometers
Novák, David ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Foral, Štěpán (advisor)
The aim of the work is the analysis of the characteristics of resistive and termočlánkových sensors, the description of their principle, basic parameters, structural design and last but not least is probably the most important part of the work of the explanation, analysis and practical experiment to see the time constant of the sensor. In the first part of the thesis explains the basic concepts and principles of thermal quantities of phenomena. Then it is done the basic classification of methods of measuring temperature with the inclusion of the main points of the content of this work. The next section will deal with the main issues of the work. First comes an explanation of the nature of resistive sensors and is explained in the next chapter the principle of thermocouples. The following is the chapter on the construction of the sensors. Here is a design of the sensor for the dismantled the practical use in industry and in other applications.. In the next chapter is described in detail at the issue of the time constants of the sensor. This chapter contains not only an explanation of this concept, but also to derive equations for the description of sensor behavior important in changing the conditions of real traffic. The following is the part where they are dismembered influences affecting the time constant of the device. These effects can significantly affect the otherwise high accuracy thermometers mentioned above. The last chapter deals with practical measurement of time constants specified thermometers. The measurement was carried out in two different environments, in boiling water and warm air. The assessment of the results of the measurements showed that the time constant in an environment of boiling water is significantly smaller than in the case of hot air, and that for all of the measured objects.
Dynamic characteristics of temperature sensors
Cienciala, Adam ; Zůbek, Tomáš (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis covers analysis and measurement of dynamic properties of temperature sensors. For measuring and data processing was used software tool LabVIEW and data acquisition device NI USB-6008.
Controllers design for plants with small time constants
Rozmahel, Ivan ; Rojka, Aleš (referee) ; Davidová, Olga (advisor)
The main reason of this project is to set up and to propose continous controllers for process with small time responses. The regulated circuits with different type of regulators and its different settings were proposed in this project. These parameters were set up with method synthesis. These calculation were compared and evaculated as regards to control accurancy and quality.
Dynamic properties of thermometers
Tomšej, Radek ; Závorka, Dalibor (referee) ; Himr, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with temperature measurement. The introduction describes the individual methods including the principles on which the methods are based. Furthermore, it presents the suitability of these individual methods, including the properties of thermometers based on the given methods. The experimental part of the thesis evaluates the practical measurement of temperature and proposes the design methods of determining the temperature in a time much faster than the response time of the thermometer.
