Reprodukční analýza plemenic skotu ve stádě s tržní produkcí mléka
Vlčková, Hana
The data for this thesis was collected in ZD Nížkov. In between the years of 2019-2021, monitoring was conducted on an average of 368 dairy cows of Czech fleckvieh cattle and Holstein and brown swiss cattle crossbreeds. Selected reproduction indexes were evaluated – calving-to-first-service interval, calving-to-conception interval, calving-to-calving interval and the number of insemination needed for pregnancy. The measured indicators were analyzed for individual years, within the seasons, according to the order of lactation and breeding affiliation of individuals. The obtained values were evaluated in Microsoft Excel and Statistica12. Basic statistical constants were calculated - arithmetic mean, standard deviation and coefficient of variation. In the Statistica12 program, selected factors were processed by ANOVA and subsequently evaluated by post hoc analysis using Tukey's test. In 2019, the length of the calving-to-first-service interval was 62,52 days, the calving-to-conception interval was 117,17 days, the calving-to-calving interval was 397,17 days and the number of insemination needed for pregnancy were 2,31. In 2020, the length of the calving-to-first-service interval was 55,19 days, the calving-to-conception interval was 118,17 days, the calving-to-calving interval was 398,17 days and the number of insemination needed for pregnancy were 2,61. In 2021, the length of the calving-to-first-service interval was 58,83 days, the calving-to-conception interval was 113,25 days, the calving-to-calving interval was 393,25 days and the number of insemination needed for pregnancy were 2,59. A great value of the breed group influence, as well as a high value of lactation period, was proven in the case of calving-to-first-service interval. For the length of the calving-to-conception interval, the breed group influence has also shown a great statistical significance.

Melounová, Andrea
The diploma thesis is focused on the impact of the age of first calving on the milk efficiency of the Czech Fleckvieh - Simmental cattle in a specific agricultural enterprise. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of the Czech cattle, goes deeper into fertility, cows’ reproduction, milk efficiency and its influential effects. In the practical part was depicted a company in Vysočina region where the results of this thesis were evaluated. The data were based on and gathered from the examined enterprise’s January 2017-July 2020 milk recoding. According to the results, it was obvious that the age of first calving does indeed have an statistically significant effect on the dairy cattle’s milk efficiency. It has been concluded that the cows calved in the age of 24 months and younger reached statistically significant (p<0.01) the lowest milk production (7 201 kg). On the other hand, the cows calved in the age of 28 months and older reached statistically significant (p<0.01) the highest milk production (7 859 kg). Also, the dairy cows reached the lowest milk production during their first lactation in all the age groups and the productions kept raising with the number of lactations.

VÁCA, Vít
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of reproduction of dairy breeds of cattle, specifically Holstein and Czech pied cattle. The first part of the work includes a general acquaintance with breeds of Holstein cattle and Czech pied cattle, their basic characteristics and history. Another part of the work is focused on cattle reproduction. This chapter covers the main reproductive indicators, factors affecting reproduction and problems related to dairy reproduction. The following chapter deals with a detailed description of the estrous cycle of cows. The aim of the work is to evaluate the level of fertility and other selected indicators of dairy cow reproduction (especially insemination interval, service period, pregnancy after the first insemination, etc.) breeds Holstein cattle and Czech pied cattle in selected farms. Data from selected breeds were obtained from the database of the breeding organization for the breeding year 2020/2021. This data was then processed into tables and graphs and evaluated.
Changes of the meat quality meat characteristics during storage
ZIEGLBAUEROVÁ, Karolína
The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of quality characteristics of beef during its storage. The literature review defines the term beef, the consumption of beef in the Czech Republic, describes its chemical composition and properties. In this work The paper evaluates the factors that affect the quality of beef and their distribution. It is further characterized by the maturation of meat, then its storage. The practical part is focused on the measurement of basic analytical components in the muscle of cattle, originating from their own breeding and from a farm with comparable breeding conditions. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to compare the properties of meat of three breeds of cattle, especially to determine the changes in the basic analytical values of meat during its long-term storage. The amount of water, protein, fat and collagen was monitored using a NIRMaster instrument and the results were then compared.
Analýza výsledku reproducke českého strakatého skotu ve vybraném chovu
HEMROVÁ, Lucie
The aim of the bachelor thesis is mainly focused on an external impacts affecting reproduction in a cattle farm located in Vysočina district. The observed farm breeds dairy cows and the study is based only on Czech fleckvieh cattle reproduction in 2019 and in 2020. Each year was analyzed by average daily temprature. Those particular years where separately defined by numbers of the estruses and pregnancy successes within insemination. The literature part starts from history of Czech fleckvieh cattle to the reproduction of cattle and choosen external impacts to the cattle reproduction. Data used for the methodology part are available at the data system of ČHMÚ ČR. Reproduction data taken from a breeder database PLEMDAT s.r.o., when all daily avarage temperatures were splitted into six groups depending on the temperature. To the each group of the temperature was added amount of inseminations taken, pregnancy success within all inseminations in the herd, pregnancy success at the first insemination and pregnancy success at the second and higher insemination. The data was then analysed. The outcome showed impact of temprature with the result of the best temperature from 0° to 15°C.
Analýza vztahu mezi onemocněním paznehtů a mléčnou užitkovostí dojnic českého strakatého skotu ve vybraném chovu
BUREŠOVÁ, Michaela
The content of this diploma thesis was the analysis of dairy cows' limb disorder in the relationship with milk yield, finding the cause of the disorder origin and possi-bilities of its treatment. In the watched breeding there were evaluated 167 dairy cows of Czech Simmen-tal cattle suffering acute disease of cloven hooves. The analysis in the enterprise las-ted from January to September 2020. Within eight curative cycles takes place a treatment of limping dairy cows' cloven hooves. Monitored parameters were milk yield (kg of milk), content of protein (%), fat (%) and somatic cells. With increasing limping of dairy cows comes to a decrease in milk yield up to 5 kg milk per a dairy cow and a day. The most frequent disease of cloven hooves was abscess (47%). The second most frequent disease was dermatitis (30%). To other diseases belongs necrobacillosis, laminitis, cleft and mechanical injury of dairy cow limbs. The most afflicted were hind limbs (82%). As a consequence of disease of cloven hooves were removed 2 % of dairy cows.
