Selected objects in non-euclidian metrics

This bachelor thesis studies the shape of a circle, ellipse, hyperbola and parabola in the taxicab metric, using elementary mathematical methods. It thus constitutes a material suitable for the study of this topic without special requirements regarding knowledge in the field of mathematics on the part of the reader. There is a number of illustrations accompanying the text, most of them created using GeoGebra software. Major hypotheses concerning the shape of the above mentioned objects are supplied with a proof. With its scope and margin, the paper represents a unique work in mathematical literature written in the Czech language at the time of its creation. The secondary benefit of the development of an open mind is mentioned as well.

Rescue Company of the Rescue Department deployed in Jihlava

Titles: Rescue Company of Rescue unit dislocated in Jihlava Objectives: The goal of this thesis is to summarize information about a Rescue unit of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic of the Czech Republic and about a 4th Rescue Company dislocated in Jihlava. Methods: Methods used in this thesis are descriptively-analytical. To work out this thesis the search of study sources and recherche of obtained study sources was used. Results: The result of this thesis are summary information about a Rescue unit of a General Directorate of a Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and about a Rescue Company dislocated in Jihlava. The Jihlava Rescue Company helps other units of the Integrated Rescue System with interventions during the extraordinary (emergency) situations, but the frequency of it's interventions is significantly lower. Since the establishment, the Jihlava Rescue Company has been accomplishing it's missions assigned by the Ministry of the Interior and by the General Directorate of a Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. Title: Development and current status of rescue unit of the Fire brigade within the scope of Integrated Rescue System in CR. Objectives: The objective of this thesis is the description of the organisation structure, force and resources and targets of military rescue units from their origin up to the present day. Methods: Bachelors theses in a theoretical style is focused into the study of available information sources, its research. Collection of publications, articles, conceptual material and other written records connected to the history of army rescue units and information regarding the present day activity of the rescue unit of the Fire brigade CR. Results: Result of this bachelor thesis is a complete overview about the development and activities of the rescue units since their origin up to present day. Development and current status of special units of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Fire Brigade

Title: Development and current status of special unit of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Fire Brigade. Objective: The aim of this work is to get a detailed overview of the development and the current functioning of the Rescue Service of the Czech Fire Brigade. Another aim is to analyze the individual rescue units of the Rescue Service of the Czech Fire Brigade with a focus on their professional training, specialization courses, organizational structure, firefighting machinery, tasks and activities including rescue and liquidation services in the events of major emergencies from 2009 to the present. Methods: The theoretical part will be drawn up on the basis of a study of printed and electronic sources related to the topic. It will be focused on the history and development of the Rescue Service of the Czech Fire Brigade, organizational structure, tasks, focus and actions, education system and firefighting machinery to the extent that will provide support for the practical part of the work. The practical part will deal with the analysis of selected rescue teams and the specialized team of the Rescue Service of the Czech Fire Brigade. The issue of establishing a new bank branch

The target of this diploma work is to show the establishment of a bank branch from the stage of planning to the day when it is open for clients. To do so I have used both fictitious data (in view of the ČSOB strategy) and methods and procedures used in practice.
