The weather influence on traffic in urban areas
Jalůvková, Denisa ; Radimský, Michal (referee) ; Matuszková, Radka (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is a research of the connections and possible interdependencies of car accidents and the weather on roads in the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis focuses on the general facts about the car accidents and their causes, further on it presents a description of individual meteorological and atmospheric phenomena. The practical part of the thesis consists of the statistics and further evaluation of the interdependence of the accidents, speed and the individual meteorological and atmospheric phenomena.
Analýza časových řad průtoků ve vybrané oblasti
HOCH, Tomáš
This diploma thesis deals with the methods used for flow measurement and their subsequent evaluation. The literature research describes basic hydrological concepts related to watersheds and runoff. The next chapter describes the methods used to measure and determine the flow of water flow rates. In the last part of the literature research, methods for evaluating time series are presented which are used to determine characteristics trends and oother statistics related to watershed and flow. This is fallowed by a practical part in which the investigated watersheds are described. Data on flows and precipitation are processed for each basin which are evaluated in the next section using selected methods. The results of these analyzes are subsequently described, compared with other researches and the possible causes of the changes that occurred are explained.
Tloušťkový přírůst smrku rostoucího v různých nadmořských výškách
Chytilová, Martina
In forestry, stem diameter increment and tree height increment are the main indicators of the tree growth. Stem diameter increment depends is influenced by different conditions: climatic, tree growth properties, soil properties, etc. Evaluation and comparison of the diameter increment of spruce stands growing in different altitude and thus in different climatic conditions was the aim of the bachelor thesis. Stem diameter increment changes were evaluated at the study site Rovná (400 m a.s.l.), Rájec (600 m a.s.l.) a Vidly (800 m a.s.l.). Values of stem diameter increment as well as the changes of meteorological conditions were evaluated for the warm period (April-October) in 2016. The results showed that the highest stem diameter increment of the spruce was at the highest placed study site of Vidly. Stem diameter increment at the study site of Rájec was lower about 47 % and at the study site of Rovná about 56 % compared to the highest placed study site of Vidly. Meteorological conditions at the studied sites influenced stem diameter increment changes as well.
