Institutionalization of the Office for oversight of financing of political parties and movements in the Czech Republic

The aim of this my diploma thesis is to analyze the justification for the establishment of the Institutionalization of the Office for Oversight of Financing of Political Parties and Movements in the Czech Republic. Here I will be particularly interested in the sources of incentives to establish of this Office. Next, I will present the internal settings of the Office itself in the sense of what real changes it has brought to the existing legislation that deals with the financing of political parties in the Czech Republic. In the context of the comparison of the current and formerly valid legal regulations, the fulfillment of the principles of the system of financing of political parties will be monitored. On the basis of empirical data from the Office, evaluate the effectiveness and the justification of the introduction of this Office into the legislation of the Czech Republic. Partial goals and their fulfillment form the basis for answering the research question of work. The research question is based on the aims of the thesis and is formulated in the following way: Can the establishment of the Office be justified in view of the previous legal status?
