Matuška, Petr ; Zlatuška, Karel (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is safe and economical design of a single span bridge over a local brook and relocated cart track in compliance with all valid regulations and standards. Three variants of possible solution were designed from which the one with prestressed concrete trapezoidal slab is preffered. The thesis is mainly focused on the static analysis of the structure and its design documentation.
One span frame bridge
Vidová, Miriama ; Zlatuška, Karel (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is to design a one field slab bridge. The bridge is situaded on the 1st class road and is leading upright over the brook Kuřimka. Structure is from prestressed concrete with the lenght of 19,33 m. The load effects is calculated by Scia Engineer 16.1. The supporting structure is assessed for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state.
Overpass bridge across the expressway
Beran, Jakub ; Zlatuška, Karel (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is detailed design of the supporting structure of a bridge. The final design is chosen out of three variants. It is a single beam structure consisting of 6 spans. The supporting structure is prestressed concrete with post-tensioning technology, the impact of phased construction is considered. the subject of the expertise of the structure is ultimate limit state, as well as service limit state, designed according to the code. The thesis also contains drawings, visualization and Engineering Report of the structure.
Prestressed slab bridge
Alušic, Michal ; Zlatuška, Karel (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design of a one-field slab bridge. It is a construction made of prestressed concrete. On the basis of the preliminary design a static calculation was processed. The design has been designed and assessed for serviceability limit states and ultimate limit states based on applicable EN standards.
Prestressed bridge on the expressway
Juřenčáková, Jana ; Zlatuška, Karel (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of the diploma thesis is to design a expressway bridge over the river Vsetínská Bečva. The bridge is located between Valašské Meziříčí and Vsetín. Separate superstructures are designed for each directions of the expressway. The right superstructure, which is wider, is considered for detailed design. Two variants were proposed, A double T beam superstructure and a box girder superstructure. The three span box girder superstructure was chosen for the design. Spans are 48+65+48 m long. Two options of construction process of the superstructure were proposed. This bridge is designed according to the limit states, the influence of construction process is considered. Structural models of construction were made as a finite element model and a plate model. Structural analysis, drawings and visualization were developed.
Bridge over the Krupá river
Crha, Tomáš ; Zlatuška, Karel (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is design of bridge construction over the river Krupá in the city Staré Město. The load bearing system is composed of one trapezoidal span. Internal forces are calculated by SCIA Engineer 17.1. All calculations were performed according to actual standard ČSN EN 1992-1-1.
Footbridge across the Berounka
Zlatuška, Karel ; Romportl, Tomáš (referee) ; Stráský, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with design of plan – curved footbridge over Berounka river near the town of Čivice. Three different options were developed. First option includes a single – beam prestressed integral construction with haunches. The second option includes suspension footbridge construction, where the bridge deck is suspended at one side. In the third option the main span is built from concrete segments. Those are suspended on a pair of steel arches. The access ramps are cast – in – place, and they are supported by round steel piers. This variant was finally chosen as the best one and it was further processed. The construction was analyzed with Scia Engineer 2015 software, considering the construction process. The footbridge was loaded with dead loads and live loads including traffic and thermal actions. The internal forces were calculated and the construction was assess to the serviceability and ultimate limit states. In terms of serviceability, stress in concrete sections and deformations were checked. In terms of the ultimate limit state, the ultimate load capacities were calculated. The steel arches and piers were checked for possibility of loss of stability by buckling. The loss of stability was also checked by the software. Finally the dynamic behaviour of the construction was assessed, especially the harmonic excitation response. Then the construction plan and the drawings were made. The drawings include overview drawings and detailed drawings.
Arch bridge across the valley
Velešík, Marek ; Zlatuška, Karel (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The main focus of this master thesis is the design and assessments of the bridge structure consist of a stress ribbon supported by a steel arch. Three preliminary studies of pedestrian bridges above the valley were created and the one with semi-through deck supported by arch through cables was chosen to detail processing. This thesis includes a chapter, which deals with finding the ideal shape of arch. The computational beam model for the analysis of the structure was created in software Ansys Mechanical including the construction stages. The correctness of the computational model was verified by the secondary model created in the software Midas Civil. For evaluation of the structure in crosswise direction was created slab model in software Midas Civil. The structure was evaluated considering the ultimate serviceability state and ultimate limit state according to currently valid standards. The thesis also includes dynamic analysis.
Design of bridge over Kyjovka river
Zlatuška, Karel ; Nečas, Radim (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The subject of Bachelor’s thesis is the design of the road bridge over the Kyjovka river on the Na Šlajsi street in Lanžhot. The work is focused on the detailed static analysis of the one span load bearing structure made of reinforced concrete. Two alternative versions have been designed and one of these was further assessed in the static calculation. The chosen version is a parapet girder composed of two main longitudinal members of variable section height. These girders are connected together with a deck slab which is supported by tapered cross beams. The theoretical span of the construction is 13 meters. The static model is created and solved in software Scia Engineer 2013.1 and its results are controlled manually according to the principles of basic structural mechanics and linear elasticity. Assessments are calculated by hand according to Eurocode. In the calculation only vertical load effects are considered.
Suspension footbridge over the Bečva River
Kavecký, Jakub ; Zlatuška, Karel (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The theme of this master thesis is the design of a footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists over the river Bečva. A suspended footbridge is selected from three developed bridge variants. The design was analyzed in more detail in the Midas Civil program where the construction timeline was also included. The footbridge was loaded with dead loads, live loads from pedestrians and climatic loads from wind and temperature. For internal forces, the structure was assessed for ultimate and serviceability limit states. The pylon was also considered in the program with 2nd order effects. The model of footbridge was subjected to dynamic analysis. The graphical output of the work consists of overview drawings, reinforcement drawings, detail and phased construction drawing with visualization.
