Business Plan
Hyrák, Zbyněk ; Zezulák, Jiří (referee) ; Veselý, Josef (advisor)
In the bachelor’s thesis, I propose a business plan of a company offering Internet services, particularly websites creating. The solution is based not only on the theoretical knowledge, which are listed in the theoretical part, but also on my own experience of doing business in this field. There are some important analysis mentioned in the thesis, as well as my own suggestion of a company designed to provide with Internet services and software products.
Modelling the course of extreme floods in the context of landscape changes and integrated flood protection
Jeníček, Michal ; Langhammer, Jakub (advisor) ; Zezulák, Jiří (referee) ; Szolgay, Ján (referee)
Introduction Floods mean a considerable hazard for mankind. Effective protection against their impact represents one of the basic hydrology and water management tasks. The conception of flood protection came tfuough development reflecting the progress in natural processes description, flood experiences and also improvement in technology possibilities enabling better computation of flood measures effectiveness. Cunently centralized flood protection concept is replaced with íntegrated flood protection concept (Langhammer et al., 2008b; Dumbrovský et al., 2006)' which gives the complex flood protection solution for the whole basin by means of smaller, close{o-natural measures, such as small retention reservoirs. land use change, suitable agrotechnical principles etc. The thesis can be divided into three main parts that form three main pillars ofintegrated flood protection. These pillars are represented by three case studies. First study was made in Blanice River basin. It computes flood extreme changes in condition of changing landscape. Results could lead to positive land cover change which could cause the flood peak decrease. Second study was made in Chomutovka River catchment (Ore Mts.). It quantifies dry retention reservoirs impact on the course of floods by different precipitation extremities. Third study...
Modeling of mass transport causal conditions
Bernsteinová, Jana ; Langhammer, Jakub (advisor) ; Zezulák, Jiří (referee) ; Havlík, Aleš (referee)
The evidence of a flood wave passing through a catchment remains visible even for a long time after it occurs. The morphological update in the channel and floodplains, together with the processes related to the mass transport within the aquatic environment, can be regarded as flood event evidence. The advancement in hydroinformatics brought the development of numerical modeling as a tool for the solution of broad hydrological tasks. Thanks to the scenario modeling, flood events with interconnected processes can be explored in detail. This thesis is broadly focused on the mass transport initialization issue both in the polluted and clear middle-European water environments. The aim of the thesis is the evaluation of the principal issues connected with the mass transport initialization based on complex and integrated numerical modeling. The thesis brings original datasets resulting from several case studies. The aim of the thesis is also to bring a comparative study of methodological approaches evaluating the possibilities and limits regarding the accuracy of inputs vs. outputs and computational time requirements. This thesis also brings several useful comparisons and innovative solutions design. The mass transport initialization issue is solved in both balance and event-scale processed- based models....
Modelling of the overland flow in an extreme shaped relief
Fárek, Vladimír ; Langhammer, Jakub (advisor) ; Zezulák, Jiří (referee) ; Unucka, Jan (referee)
This thesis is focused on finding the optimal tools for modelling of the overland flow and verification of its reliability and limits in an extreme relief of the Bohemian Switzerland. This paper focuses on the Open Source tools for modelling of the overland flow implemented in the geographic information system GRASS GIS. The region of the Bohemian Switzerland, especially of the same name national park, was chosen for two main reasons. The first is the fact that the range of reliefs' shapes of local sandstone rock areas is exceptionally varied. Extreme vertical segmentation, relief edges, changes of convex and concave shapes of relief, significant changes of profile, planar and tangential curvature and often extremely narrow and deep valleys are extremely difficult from the point of view of overland flow modelling. The second reason for the focus on the above mentioned field is the fact that for the given area there is available an exceptional quality digital elevation model (DEM) from the GeNeSis project - "Geoinformationsnetzwerke für die grenzüberschreitende Nationalparkregion Sächsisch - Böhmische Schweiz". This DEM financed from the operational program EU Interreg IIIA Cross-Border Cooperation was carried out by the Technical University Dresden and is characterized by high density of scanning...

Další výzkum historických povodní a zhodnocení získaných poznatků; 3. Simulace povodňových vln, jak pro stav bez nádrží, tak pro model soustavy s nádržemi; 4. Statistické hodnocení neovlivněných a ovlivněných řad, posouzení míry ovlivnění a výpočet N-letých průtoků; 5.

Kalibrace dílčích srážko-odtokových modelů a říčních modelů, z kterých je složen model odtoku z povodí Vltavy a z povodí Labe pod Vltavou a ladění tohoto celkového modelu včetně simulací ovlivnění povodňových průtoků nádržemi.
