Došlá, Kateřina ; Zemanová, Jana (advisor) ; Vysokajová, Margerita (referee)
Citizens health state assessment is a very important part of social security law. The institute of medical health state assessment has come through a long historical development and since its beginning it has been connected with the first attempts of the society to form institutes focused on the possibility to have an influence on the consequences of health defects of individual citizens and their possible return to work. Help to handicapped people started by a voluntary form of insurance, continued by its obligatory form in some specific professions and lead in general health insurance and social security by law, or self payment performance. Citizens health state assessment in the system of social security is conducted by assessment physicians of the Medical Assessment Service of the Czech Social Security Administration (in fact by assessment physicians working for regional social security administration). Their number is not (even if the institute of contract surgeon has been established) sufficient. As far as the review action in court is concerned the assessment is conducted also by assessment physicians working in special commissions of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and by assessment physicians of the Interior Ministry and the Ministry of Justice. In spite of unfavourable personnel...

Zajíc, Luboš ; Koldinská, Kristina (advisor) ; Zemanová, Jana (referee)
My master's degree thesis focuses on special Czech social security benefit, which can be perhaps called "benefit for personal care". In the first chapter I explicate the topic and conceptions I will work with in the following text. The second chapter describes legislation which precedes the Act of social services containing the "benefit for personal care". This Act had come in force in 2006 and has come into effect since 1st January 2007. I compared construction of previous supports and " benefit for personal care" The third chapter explains in detail rules of law which regulate conditions of claim for benefit for personal care, administrative procedure, etc. The level of benefit relates to the degree in which needy person depends on help of other individual. The method used for establishing this degree is highlighted in the 4th chapter. The 4th chapter is subdivided into two major parts according to operations and procedures used to establish degree of applicant's dependence. I especially focused on aspects of establishing proper degree of dependence for visually impaired people. In final part I reflected on alternative ways how to regulate this social security issue based on a reflection of functioning of chosen system and I have mentioned the latest novel social service Act which will come into...

Konárová, Radka ; Zemanová, Jana (advisor) ; Koldinská, Kristina (referee)
Resumé - Cizí jazyk The Development of the Czech Republic Pension System and Its Application in the Legal Form The In this thesis I presented a comprehensive overview of the current pension system in the Czech Republic and introduced some changes to the pension system of the Czech Republic that has been already clarified or will be very probably clarified by the modifications in the legal regulations. The content of my thesis is directly related to the pension reform in the Czech Republic and I also described some impacts of the modifications in the legal tax regulations system.Czech Republic is another country that will have to deal with unfavorable demographic progress of its population such as increasing number of seniors and decreasing amount of subjects that contribute to the pension system. That might result in the financial instability and that is also a reason for preparation and implementation of the Czech pension system reform. I'm convinced that pension system as a part of the country's social system is one of the crucial economics cornerstones of every country. Laws that support the pension system are subjects of significant modifications in the recent years. Such modifications are content related, it means that new laws are created or current laws are modified. The execution of the laws changes...
