Chess
Valsa, Vít ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
The main purpose of my bachelor's thesis was to create the chess computer game software with graphic user interface and to design and develop an algorithm of chess computer with learning ability. It was also necessary to create an interface to the board games manager. In the first part of my work I present the chess game rules and already existing chess game software and specialised chess computers. The next part discusses the mini-max algorithm and other derived algorithms and their possible improvements. The main part of the work deals in description of design and realization of the developed application. The user interface and functionality of the application is also described. In the conclusion the achieved results are summarized and the possible directions of further development of the application are described.
Dynamic Memory Allocation in TinyOS
Križanský, Ján ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Horáček, Jan (advisor)
This thesis aims for a theoretical and practical comparison of two different approaches to dynamic memory management in TinyOS operating system designated for simple programmable devices. For each of the approaches we were observing different aspects, among others the effectivity of usage of resources, allocation speed and usability from the programmers point of view. Thesis also extends the capabilities of dynamic allocation onto external flash memory. It shortly explains the principles behind dynamic memory allocation and it's application in the area of simple programmable devices with limited resources.
Demonstrational Program for IZU Course
Míšová, Miroslava ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with development of new study aplications for course Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence. These aplications are based on the older version of JavaApplet, which use features, that are no longer supported. Each applicatoin was made acording to an object-oriented paradigm and than implemented. Special care was taken in order for the UI to be intuitive and easy to use and also for the aplication to be able to be further developed.
Movie Recommender System
Janko, Pavel ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Šůstek, Martin (advisor)
This thesis primarily addresses various methods of constructing a system for movie recommendations. Both basic and advanced techniques required for creating a recommender system are also covered in the thesis. The core of the thesis is designing, implementing and experimenting with a system for movie recommendations based upon the data originating from publicly accessible datasets. In order to predict ratings that the user would give to movies after watching them, the system utilizes a factorization model based on collaborative filtering. This thesis also describes the relation between model hyperparameter configuration and prediction accuracy, experiments that were conducted in order to further improve the model accuracy and finally compares the implemented model with existing solutions.
Object Recognition by Neural Networks
Marák, Jaroslav ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This thesis is focused on neural networks and their classification capability in object recognition tasks. For recognition is there used neural networks with feedforward architecture which is learned by Back Propagation algorithm. We discusses about problems which appear while a choosing topology of network or using various lerning-significant parametters while a learning process. Achieved results are presented in experiments with estimation.
Genealogical Data Visualization
Vlk, Patrik ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis describes the genealogical terms related to creation of family trees, design and implementation of the web application, which enables users to visualize and search genealogical data on the map. The most important task of this application is processing GEDCOM or CSV files, which contain genealogical data. The application is able to display people from the lineages on the map based on their birthplace and enables the user to search persons and areas, in which they are born, according to various criteria.
The Design of Minimal Bluetooth Stack
Gazda, Martin ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis main aim is to design minimal Bluetooth stack for embedded applications running on an education platform FITkit. This paper contains a theoretical foundation for that work and implementation description. The main section includes Bluetooth protocol stack design and main opportunities which such a design raises.
Flight Simulator Based on Jason Multi-Agent System
Punčochářová, Pavlína ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a 2D flight simulator using Jason multi-agent system and AgentSpeak language. In this simulator, the aircrafts will be represented by agents and their behavior will be described by plans implemented in AgentSpeak language. Agents will use these plans to demonstrate different types of behavior such as detection and collision avoidance, the taking of a position or persecution. The final application consists of two parts - the simulation module and the user interface. Simulation module is the core of simulator and it is created in the Jason system. The user interface provides the possibility to control simulations and creating user simulation models.
Traveling Salesman Problem
Šůstek, Martin ; Snášelová, Petra (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This thesis is focused on modification of known principles ACO and GA to increase their performance. Thesis includes two new principles to solve TSP. One of them can be used as an initial population generator. The appendix contains the implementation of the application in Java. The description of this application is also part of the thesis. One part is devoted to optimization in order to make methods more efficient and produce shorter paths. In the end of the thesis are described experiments and their results with different number of places from 101 up to 3891.
Usage of Intelligent Agents in Wireless Sensor Networks
Žídek, Petr ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This thesis is focused on wireless sensor networks and implementation tools for creation and simulation of applications. It describes WSnageNt project, which is intended to support agents in wireless sensor networks. The main objective of this thesis is to extend the WSageNt project with new features that will allow to create agents with more capabilities. These features will be then used to extend the WSageNt project with network node movement tracking capability.
