Development of line advertising in journals from the point of view of text and theme analysis based on comparison between journals Lidová demokracie (in 1968 and 1988) and Lidové noviny (in 1998 and 2008)

This bachelor's thesis deals with the development of line advertising in journals. It is divided into theoretical and practical parts while the development is described on the basis of textual and thematic analysis of line advertising in journals Lidová demokracie and Lidové noviny. In the thematic analysis the work focusses on the volume of advertisements and specifically whether and when it rises (or drops). The textual analysis tries to record language and orthography norms as they evolved. The work is also focused on vocabulary changing and advertisers' active vocabulary. The corpus of researched material comes from years 1968 and 1988 of Lidová demokracie, always first week of March, June, September and December and the same months of Lidové noviny from years 1998 and 2008. Both journals can be paralleled because of their relatively comparable edition, number of readers and position on the newspaper market. On the basis of practical comparation of the analysis a demonstration of the line advertisement is made. The theoretical part describes briefly history of advertisement including the censorship in the second half of the 20th century. The necessity of visiting duty of primary care nurses at children´s patients

Visiting service is a lawful activity of nurses working in paediatric departments. During the visiting service there is a possibility to obtain valuable information on the child{\crq}s family and its background. A nurse recommends the parents how to prevent diseases or injuries at their children. A nurse also educates them about a suitable diet, hygiene and upbringing. During the visiting service there is enough time for parents to ask about their children{\crq}s prevention and upbringing. A community nurse can stand in for this post of primary care nurse as well. Such kind of nurses has not been initiated yet in the Czech Republic. The Ministry of Health is going to include this kind of nurses in general educational programme.

The report on a development of advanced methods of the study of speciation and description of sorption of actinoids

The report of the last period of the project presents a development of three topics, each of which relates to the study of the radionuclide migration in fields near to disposal of nuclear waste and other nuclear facilities. The local structure and thermodynamic stability of uranyl sulfate complexes in aqueous solution was investigated by DFT theory. Interpretation of UV-VIS absorption spectra of uranyl-sulfate and -aqua complexes in aqueous solution was performed within the time-dependent DFT calculations. The structures were optimized in the aqueous phase at the B3LYP level by using model COSMO. The calculated geometries of aqua-sulfate complexes corresponded to the experimental data. DFT method described qualitatively thermodynamic stability of complexes in solution. TD-DFT method correctly interpreted only a part of absorption spectra (190-340 nm). In order to interpret the area around 420 nm it will be necessary to use the two-component relativistic TD-DFT.

Er: Yb fibre-optic laser excited by a diode

The paper deals with the employment of special optical fiber doped in the core with ytterbium and erbium ions in a fiber laser emitting at 1540 nm. The fiber was drawn from a preform prepared by the MCVD method at it was coated with a polysiloxane polymer coating with a refractive index lower than of silica. This coating makes possible to launch light from a laser diode directly into a silica jacket of the fiber. An output power of 47 mW was measured with an excitation diode power of 860 mW.

Lasers based on the double-clad fibers fabricated in IREE AS CR

In this artical the fiber lasers using double-clad fibers as an active medium, fabricated in IREE AS CR are presented. This fibers are doped by erbium and ytterbium ions with different concentration ratio. These fibers have also different lateral structure like refractive index profile or material of secondary cladding. For these fibers the optimal lenght, maximum power and efficiency of linear resonator in configuration without external reflected components were found.
