Construction design of woodworking machinery for preparing sawn timber
Závodný, Tomáš ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Šubrt, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals primary with design of a woodworking machine focused on woodworking technology by cutting – rip saw. The introduction to the work is get to acquainted with the material to be processed – wood, and also the search of associated machines with the same technology of workpiece processing. Next part is focused on the safety of machining on woodworking machines and the individual safety features that the machines must contain are also analyzed. From this survey, a saw model with all the necessary features is created. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to the risk analysis of the proposed machinery and their reduction.
Adjustment and modification made to the serially produced combustion engine to get an engine for racing purposes
Závodný, Tomáš ; Knotek, Jiří (referee) ; Maršálek, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis analyses the modification of the serially produced combustion engine to get an engine for racing purposes. The first part is conceived as searching and is focused on why this serially produced engine was modified to racing engine and which adjustments were made on this naturally aspirated engine. Another part was dedicated to design simulation in the software ADAMS MD R3 and the results of these simulations were processed and evaluated. Conclusion contains a comparison of the results from the software and results from an actual engine dynamometer, and what is the overall success of the project in real life.
Design of Artificial Muscle for Robotics Area
Závodný, Tomáš ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The diploma thesis is structured with regard to the design and use of artificial muscle in robotics. The thesis starts with a theoretical section where different types of artificial muscles are described with their advantages and disadvantages. After considering all the types of described muscles, one species was selected for further processing. Vacuum-controlled origami muscles were chosen for use in a small manipulation device. After the design of the whole machine, the risk analysis and the economic evaluation of the whole design were carried out.
