A teacher's profession at the secondary school during the coronavirus crisis

Reflection The diploma thesis deals with the topic of teaching during the coronavirus crisis. The coronavirus brought not only a disease, but also a pandemic which had global consequences for the population. People were affected by social, economic, psychological and physical consequences. This thesis deals with the impact of the pandemic on education and the form of teaching during this period. The teaching profession that was interrupted and limited at one point. Teachers were faced with a new situations brought by the closure of schools. A considerable amount of space is devoted to teaching itself, especially distance learning and it mentions its positives and negatives. A short cross-section of the history of teaching and its interruption is also interesting. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is devoted to important concepts related to the coronavirus disease, the occurence and development of the pandemic itself. It also deals with the beginning of the coronavirus crisis in the Czech Republic and what effects recieved Czech education. Then the form of teaching before the pandemic is explained.
