Fears in adolescence

The topic of this diploma thesis is Fears in adolescence. The aim of this work was to explore what are the fears of adolescents and how they cope with them. Attention is also paid to the topic of communication on the subject of fear in the family and the importance of fear by adolescents. The work is divided into theoretical part and empirical part. The theoretical part consists of three chapters. It is opened by the defining the emotions of fear and anxiety, the concept of anxiety and fear in various psychological schools and also a view of physiology. The second chapter focuses on the ontogenesis of fear with a focus on adolescence. In the end of the theoretical part, attention is paid to coping with fears in adolescence. The focus of this thesis is on its empirical part. It is realized within the qualitative methodological approach. The data was obtained mainly by semi-structured interviews with adolescents. The supplementary method was unfinished sentences. The research sample consists of five boys and five girls aged 16 - 19. The topics of in-depth interviews were subject of fear, the importance of fear, coping with fear or communication in the family. Attitudes of adolescents towards marriage and parenthood

The intention of this bachelor thesis is to contribute to the knowledge of attitudes of adolescents to marriage and parenthood. The aim of the thesis is to find out and describe these attitudes. The work is divided into theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part consists of five chapters and it deals with topics: Attitudes and its formation, adolescence, marriage and parenthood in the context of recent family. The practical part presents the results of qualitative investigation which was focused on finding the attitudes to marriage and parenthood in the period of adolescence. With the exception of the attitudes I am interested in the overall view of adolescents on this issue. The data was obtained by semi-structured interviews with respondents.
