Primary prevention programs and their impact on elementary school students.

This bachelor Theses examines the impact of primary prevention programs, which are implemented in primary schools in town of Litomeřice. Bachelor Theses tries to find out the effectiveness and usefulness of these programs during the lessons in primary schools. Theoretical part of the work focuses on definition basic terms and the development of primary prevention of risk behaviours. Also discuss the importance of preventive work and programs of primary prevention of their content and objectives. The work describes the external primary prevention programs which are established and implemented by Educational and Psychological Counselling in town of Litoměřice. And also programs which are implemented by Town of Litoměřice in cooperation with the local police and discusses cutting width of these programs. The empirical part of the work focuses on evaluation of data collected through research among primary school pupils in town of Litoměřice. Research was conducted in the external primary prevention program which named "Safe on the Internet". This program was implemented by Educational and Psychological Counselling in town of Litoměřice. (in English): My Diploma Theses engages the topic "Retrospective view of former clients of Probation and Mediation Service on social work in criminal justice". The main aim is try to find out and evaluate the view of former clients of this service in Nymburk who were experienced social work in criminal justice. Diploma Theses focuses on what was helpful for clients, on their possible changing process and also how did clients perceived the support and the control. It is also about the opinions of the worker of Probation and mediation service, what they personally think (based on their experiences) about the real views of their former clients on this area of social work. Theoretic part describes aspects of social work in criminal justice and its progress. It also describes restorative justice which makes background for this social work. In this part we find main information about Probation and mediation service in Czech republic and about specifics of clients and probation workers. The research probe which was realized in Nymburk is described in practical part. The research sample includes former clients and current workers of mentioned service. School children and their contact with marihuana and tobacc

in english The goal of this bachelor thesis was to research the contact and relationship of older age students with smoking tobacco and marijuana products. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part of the thesis I identified and characterized the goal group of the study, primary school students. Other terms that are defined and discussed in the thesis are at risk groups, addictive substances, addiction and the prevention of risky behavior. The empirical part of the thesis contains my own research. The data that was collected was obtained through a questionnaire completed by 7th, 8th and 9th grade students at 4 primary schools in the Ústecký region of Czech Republic. Through the questionnnaire I was able to identity the availability of addictive substances to primary school students; the comparison of children living in the city versus village and their different experiences using addictive substances, and the comparison of experiences between students that have regularly scheduled hobbies and those that have none. Needs of people addicted to drugs to keep succesfull abstinence in aftercare

The topic Needs of people addicted to drugs and alcohol to maintain succesful abstinence in aftercare was chosen. Aftercare is an important part of addiction treatment, but often overlooked and unused. The aim is to clarify the needs of abstinent persons addicted to alcohol and other non-alcohol drugs and their subsequent comparison. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the development of addiction, its diagnosis, description of drugs and treatments options. Chapters dealing with treatment are thoroughly discussed because of the individual usage during the treatment of addiction. Aftecare of addicted people and problems with relapse take place in this part of work. The second part deals with research focused on identifying the needs of addicted people to drugs and alcohol to maintain successful abstinence and their subsequent comparison. Clarifying of these needs can serve as a recommendation to other abstaining people or as a support to services in the system of aftercare to successful abstinence nowadays. The thesis is focused on the experience of 6th and 9th elementary school classes with risk behavior in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. The theoretical part defines terms related to adolescence, risk behavior and prevention. This part also deals with procedures in the occurence of the risk behavior in elementary school. The practical part presents the results of own empirical investigation and bears the signs of a quantitative research. The aim of the research was to determine to which extent second grades students in Dvůr Králové nad Labem have personal experience in the risk behavior. The method of data collection tool was a questionnaire. The results of the research will be beneficial in the prevention of risk behavior in primary schools in Dvůr Králové nad Labem.

The topic of this thesis is "Motivational work with a client in Child and adolescent detox center". The target of the theoretical part of this thesis is to describe motivational work with the client of the Child and adolescent detox center in the Hospital Sisters of Mercy of St. Charles Borromeo in Prague. The theoretical part is focused on general issue of drugs and addiction. Furthermore, there are described historical changes of the drug scene in our country in the 60s of the 20th century. Moreover, there are mentioned preventive measures against the emergence of the drug addiction. The detailed focus was given to the department of the Child and adoslescent detox center of the Hospital Sisters of Mercy of St. Charles Borromeo in Prague. In addtion, there are stated options of the treatment which can be used by the client during the stay in the Child and adolescent detox center in the Czech Republic. The aim of the practial part of the thesis is to analyse if and how the motivation for the change of the curent behaviour of the client varies during his or her visit in the Child and adolescent detox center. Life's career of female sex workers - clients of organisation Bliss without Risk

This diploma thesis, called "Life's Career of Female Sex Workers - Clients of Organisation Bliss without Risk", concentrates on the topic of prostitution and on the particular period of Bliss without Risk clients' life. The theoretic part includes an explanation of terms of the prostitution scene as well as it mentions and considers new words of this branch such as a sex work or a sex worker. The diploma work tackles the problem of what is very specific for the difficulties of the prostitution branch (heath, social, law or criminal difficulties). It mostly concentrates on the problematic of on sex workers committed violence. The coping strategies being used by women in sex business are also described. The practical part includes the phone research based on information collected from the Bliss without Risk's ex-clients. The main goal of the research was to find out how the ex-clients are keeping and what was the reason they stopped using it's services (was it their dissatisfaction over provided services or did they just left the sex business at all etc.). Criminology prevention in the frame of primary school curriculum in Czech Republic

This theses focuses on how the criminology prevention in the frame of primary school curriculum in Czech republic is organized and what importance do the primary school teachers in Prague attache to it. In the practical part, the theses addresses criminology knowledge, with special focus on bullying at school, Labour and Social Welfare Departement's stratégy on criminology prevention, it's implementation in school subject such as Citizenship Education and Human and it's World (throught comparative analyses of textbooks content), and criminology prevention in workshops of Policy and providers of primary prevention programs (throught comparative analyses of program contents). It also samples some uccessfull criminology prevention programs abroad. In theoretical part, the theses focuses on evaluation qvantitative datas of an exploring coil, which investigated what importance do the primary school teachers in Prague attache to criminology prevention in primary school curicullum and how they evaluate it's organization. As conclusion , some recommendations are mentioned for criminology prevention enhancement within primary school curriculum framework and proposals for further research within issue.
The consequence of drug users between addiction and abstinence for field work

The bachelor essay "The significance of drug users between addiction and abstinence for field work" deals with the concept of indigenous field work with problem drug users in a hidden drug scene. Describes the current model of employment stabilized drug users in external field programs of SANANIM co. In the empirical part deals with the number of low-threshold facilities for drug addicted clients, in practice, using indigenous field workers. Queries to the fulfillment of the objectives of social work with problem drug users using indigenous field workers and identify the reasons why it is not this way of working on a hidden drug scene too extended.
