Sanitation installation and gas installation in apartment block
Valášek, Martin ; Bárta, Ladislav (referee) ; Vrána, Jakub (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with design and technical disabled pipeline installation. In the theoretical part we can learn something about the infiltration of rainwater and facilities for infiltration of rainwater. Computational part of a project proposal includes sanitary and storm sewers, water mains internal, domestic gas connection and building on existing network hardware. It is a residential building designed for housing. The building has three floors and no basement.
Heat pumps for heating and hot service water preparation
Valášek, Martin ; Hrnčířová, Michaela (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is aimed to describe heating and water warming in the detached houses by basic technical devices and there are suggested various types of heat pumps for a particular object. These heat pumps are compared technically and economically. In the beginning of the thesis there is a summary of the possible ways of the house heating and water warming systems, such as heating by electric power, by gas, by solid fuel or the centrally distributed heating. Then the thesis concentrates on heat pumps. There are described various types of heat pumps, also their advantages and disadvantages. There were chosen four main types of heat pumps – air/water, air/air, water/water and earth/water – and with each type there’s constructed a plan for a low-energy house heating. This house is located in Vyškov and there’s thermal loss of 6 kWh and water-warming of a capacity of 260 l per day. At last there were used economical calculations, which shown, that the water/water heat pump has the shortest return rate in comparison with a gas-using heating system – 5 years. Considering the lifespan of the heat pumps – 10-20 years – all the heat pumps are profitable except for the air/air heat pump. The investment in this heat pump doesn’t return.
The Point-by-Point fiber diffraction structures
Valášek, Martin ; Čučka, Milan (referee) ; Urban, František (advisor)
The diploma thesis described the basic principles and characters of the long period fiber gratings (LPFGs). Our concern was to describe basic mathematical description of these gratings needed to their modelation and simulation. Consequently some exact models leading to changes in the shape of the spectrum LPFGs were suggested, these methods were the chirping, apodization and changes in the average refractive index navg. In the Matlab environment, programes for counting the important parametres LPFGs were created and meanwhile each model leading to the change in the shape of the spectrum was simulated.
A heating system in a retrofitted house
Valášek, Martin ; Bělka, Miloslav (referee) ; Charvát, Pavel (advisor)
The master’s thesis contains a complete design scheme of the heating system for a family house after additional thermal insulation of some structures. In the first part, we will learn about the house and the climatic conditions. In the next section there is the calculation of the overall heat transfer coefficients for building structures and also of the heat losses of the building before and after additional insulation. In the next section there is a selection of the temperature gradient, radiators, heat proposal for an option with a single source as well as for an option with two sources. The pressure losses through each element were calculated and hydraulic balancing using the thermo-regulation valves was performed. In the conclusion the safety components were checked and the total costs of both the implementation and the drawing documentation were assessed.
Sanitation installation in an apartment building with commercial space
Valášek, Martin ; Vaščáková, Alena (referee) ; Vrána, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of plumbing in an apartment building with commercial space in Ilava. The theoretical part is devoted to the design of the container hot drinking water and it´s possible alternatives. The work also focuses on possible solutions diploma work. Computational part of a project proposal contains sewage and rainwater drainage, water supply systems and connecting the building to the existing network hardware. It is a residential house, which is in part intended for commercial premises and the second part is intended for housing. The building has four floors and no basement.
Linear and nonlinear phenomena in optical access networks
Valášek, Martin ; Münster, Petr (referee) ; Šifta, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is an explanation of the problem linear and nonlinear phenomena in optical access networks. In the first chapter refers to a description of the optical fiber, description of the optical environment and the main part is theoretical and mathematical description of phenomena that operate in optical fibers. It is therefore a specific attenuation, dispersion, phenomena of second and third-order, nonlinear light scattering and solitons. Then there is the dismantling brief overview of the distribution of access networks and their description. The second part deals with specific simulation of these phenomena in the simulation program OptSim 5.2. All connections will be implemented in the block diagram Sample-Mode, in which using appropriate units and setting the right parameters, we will try to confirm the theoretical assumptions of the first part.
