Analysis of retinal nerve fiber layer for diagnosis of glaucoma
Vodáková, Martina ; Malínský, Miloš (referee) ; Odstrčilík, Jan (advisor)
The master thesis is focused on creating a methodology for quantification of the nerve fiber layer on photographs of the retina. The introductory part of the text presents a medical motivation of the thesis and mentions several studies dealing with this issue. Furthermore, the work describes available textural features and compares their ability to quantify the thickness of the nerve fiber layer. Based on the described knowledge, the methodology to make different regression models enabling prediction of the retinal nerve fiber layer thickness was developed. Then, the methodology was tested on the available image dataset. The results showed, that the outputs of regression models achieve a high correlation between the predicted output and the retinal nerve fiber layer thickness measured by optical coherence tomography. The conclusion discusses an usability of the applied solution.
Analysis of Ophthalmological Images Aimed to Diagnosis of Glaucoma
Vodáková, Martina ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Odstrčilík, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on fundamental texture analysis of high-resolution fundus images aimed to subjectively and quantitatively describe properties of texture formed by the retinal nerve fiber layer. An area of interest was predefined in the form of ten sectors on each fundus image. The correlation between results of subjective and quantitative evaluation of the texture was monitored in each sector. The results show that proposed fundamental texture features are closely related to the subjective textural properties obtained from visual appearance of the retinal nerve fiber layer. The last step compares results from fundamental texture analysis with quantitative measurement of the retinal nerve fiber layer thickness provided by Optical Coherence Tomography.
Děčín and its Hinterland in the Middle Ages
Vodáková, Martina ; Klápště, Jan (advisor) ; Velímský, Tomáš (referee)
The diploma thesis examines Děčín with its surroundings in the Middle Ages. It explores primarily the medieval roads on the borderline of Bohemia and Saxony, more specifically the left side shoreline routes between Děčín and Pirna. The reconstruction of the road network is summarized in a register of routes and a map. The locations of the findings obtained from men with detectors strikingly coincide with the routes. These findings are summed up in an attached catalogue. This coincidence implies that the detected findings might have been directly related to the routes. Attention is given to the functioning of forest complexes taking as an example a probe into the landscape on the borderline of Bohemian Switzerland and The Lusatian Mountains. Furthermore, I complete and correct some older ideas about the nature and structure of a vanished town on Mariánská louka. I put forward relative and absolute chronology of ceramics based on archaeological research conducted between 2007 and 2008. It refers to the beginnings, development and decline of the town situated on Mariánská louka. Keywords: the Middle Ages, settlement, medieval town and its hinterland, Děčín, Bohemian Switzerland, communication systems, contact studies, non-agricultural landscape
The Transformation of Lovosice in the Middle Ages
Vodáková, Martina ; Klápště, Jan (advisor) ; Žemlička, Josef (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the transformation of Lovosice in the Middle Ages. The topic is focused on the period since 11th to 14th century and it is concerned with medieval transformation. The basis for knowledge of medieval settlement in Lovosice is the catalogue of archaeological finds and the map, which shows their location. These facts are completed with the literary and cartographic sources. The time period is based on relative and absolute dating of ceramics. I try to connect Lovosice with public roads and near town Litoměřice. Keywords: the Middle Ages, medieval transformation, settlement, Lovosice

Child with school attendance delay
VODÁKOVÁ, Martina
VODÁKOVÁ, Martina. Child with school attendance delay. České Budějovice: Pedagogical faculty of Jihočeská univerzity in České Budějovice, 2010. 61 s. Bachelor thesis. Thesis "Child with school attendance delay" covers problems connected with school attendance delay of children of preschool age. The thesis is devided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part consists of five chapters in which preschool age is mentioned and somatic, motoric and cognitive development of child described. This part also focuses on development of drawing, speaking and emotional experiences of preschool age children including their socialization. In the meantime it defines terms of school maturity, preparedness for school and school immaturity. Theoretical part is finished with a chapter about school attendance delay of preschool age children. Practical part is based on results of a test of Predictive reading battery, questionnaire research and personal diagnostic research. Then through analysis of statistic dates of Moravske Budejovice the most frequent month in which school attendance delayed children were borned is assesed, number of delays and number of boys and girls here is compared for the last six months. These results are compared with school attendance delays in Vysocina region and in The Czech Republic.
