Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage - (Global Strategy for Representative, Balanced and Credible World Heritage List This work will follow 18 years of implementation of Global Strategy for Representative, Balanced and Credible World Heritage List, which should ensure diversity of monuments inscribed to the World Heritage List. Twenty-two years after the signing of Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, ICOMOS organization pointed to over-representation of cultural properties and underrepresentation of natural and mixed sites as well as over-representation of properties in developed regions and underrepresentation of those in developing world. Main aim of Global Strategy is to balance these cases and also work on credibility and representation of the World Heritage Convention. Outcome of this work will be an evaluation of application of Global Strategy, its shift during 18 years of its existence and an evaluation of effectiveness and usefulness of it. TITLE: Development of the Czech Party KDU-ČSL and its Comparison with the German CDU AUTHOR: Martina Veselá DEPARTMENT: Social Sciences and Philosophy SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Josef Stracený, CSc. ABSTRACT: The main aims of this bachelor thesis are to analyze the Czech political party KDU- CSL and the German political party CDU and to compare these two Christian- democratic political parties. In the first part of this thesis, the fundamental term political party is explained and other important terms of political studies are defined. The next part of the thesis contains the analyses of the development of KDU-ČSL and CDU. The analyses briefly decsribe the history of these two political parties and mainly aim at their development during the nineties of the 20th century. This period is important because both political parties developed a lot due to the newly arising democratic countries. The last part of this thesis deals with the contentual comparison of KDU- ČSL and CDU. The aim is to find out a nodal point between these two parties, their similarities and differences. Number sense among children in first grade of elementary school

The whole thesis has been the view on the level of the understanding to the number among children at first grade of the elementary school. The beginning part focuses on the general summary of the points related to the main subject. This means the developing of cognitive functions at the time when children start attending school, summary of the technical terms connected with mathematical abilities and describing the development of the mathematical abilities at the first grade. The research applies to the topics in the field of mathematical abilities, which are relatively new in the Czech Republic. I tried to describe the number sense among children at the first grade, their strategies during solving the tasks and also to describe the measure of their math anxiety. Another outcome is finding out the dependence of results of the powers of intellect test, number knowledge test and the math anxiety measure. My research was realized under the patronage of the research realized at the Australian University, Sydney. The conclusion of the thesis focuses on the suggestions how to support the children's mathematical abilities development before they start attending school. The translation of two research methods is also the partial result. Key words: number sense, math anxiety, mathematical abilities

Statistical risk analysis of selected companies in regions of the Czech Republic

This thesis mainly deals with statistical analysis of risks in different selected businesses
in Czech Republic, when the primary data are obtained through a questionnaire survey for
the following statistical analysis, where frequency, mean and variability are used. The work
confirmed the hypothesis of the occurance of differences in risk perception depending on the
branch of business and also on the region. The conclusions could be used by new emerging
companies, that through this thesis might be able to orientate themselves in risks analysis,
specifically in their branch of business and the region.

Measurements of permeability of dialysis membranes

Familiarization with dialysis theoretical principles and determination of dialysis membrane permeability with the help of experimentally assembled apparatus is the aim of this bachelor thesis. The introduction part deals with basic knowledge concerning treatment with dialysis and its current quality. There continues a chapter stating an overview of dialysis membranes different types and main characteristics of individual materials, which the membranes were made of and which they are produced now. Theoretical preparation for the practical part of the thesis clarifies the basic notions, principals and processes connected with the mass transfer through dialysis membranes and dialysis. Further on, theoretical process is described and phrased how to determine dialysis membranes permeability in a laboratory scale in an experimental way. Two possible configurations of experimental apparatus are illustrated with block schemes working either in a non-stationary or a stationary regime of measurement. The basis to determine membrane permeability is sampling in specified time intervals from blood and dialyze side and spectrophotometric detection of samples concentration. The practical part itself is preceded with the process with collected samples analysis. Then, it is followed with relations derivation for mass transfer coefficient calculation. Concentration progress on blood and dialyze side with non-stationary way of measurement is modelled in Simulink programme. The practical part of the thesis uses the mentioned above theoretical knowledge and assumptions and it realises concrete measurements in non-stationary regime. Evaluating part of the thesis documents the obtained results and assesses them with the help of derived equations. The whole process of measurement including obtained results is evaluated and discussed in the final part.

Effect of brain regions coordinates selection on dynamic causal modelling results

Master’s thesis is aimed at familiarization with the principles of measurement and data processing functional magnetic resonance, focusing on the analysis of effective connectivity using dynamic causal modelling (DCM). The practical part includes three main thematic areas relating to the description of the processing and evaluation of measured or simulated data. First, there is on sample dataset described the neuroscientific SPM toolbox to analyze measured data. Then follows introduction of the proposed approach with which is investigated the behavior of the model estimation neural interactions with respect to the change of input parameters. This phenomenon is also simulated and on base of achieved results is recommended optimal approach to analyzing effective connectivity using dynamic causal modeling for the group of subjects. The last circuit in the practical part is assessment of shift the coordinates of brain areas on dynamic causal modelling results for the group of subjects from the data obtained from real measurements. Obtained results from simulated data and the results obtained from measured data are evaluated and discussed in the final part.

Non-current Assets held for sale and Discontinuing operation according IFRS

This diploma thesis deals with the presentation and disclosure requirements of non-current assets held for sale and discontinued operations in accordance with rules and requirements of IFRS. The theoretical part is divided into several areas. The most important chapter is Non-current assets held for sale, in which are detailed rules for their classification, measuring and reporting and the chapter Discontinued operations. Conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to Czech accounting legislation, what criteria are required in connection with this issue. The practical part is focused on illustration application of IFRS 5 in selected companies. The aim of this analysis is to determine whether these companies comply with the rules and requirements of IFRS 5 in their financial statements.

Operations with company and their presentment in the system of accounting

This thesis is focused on operations with company that are defined in the Czech accounting standard No. 011 and their booking in the company accountancy. Operations with company bring a lot of specialities in the sphere of economy, accountancy, justice and taxation, that cannot be find in other spheres. These operations take very long time. The Czech accounting standard No. 011 is a directory statute recommending how to account operations with company. The Comercial Code and the Civil Code contain juridical aspects of transactions with company. Man have to known the tax problems of operations with company too. Operations with company may seem very difficult but on the other side man can dispose of the whole firm on the basis of one contract. It is easy, comfortable, fast, cheaper and profitable. Man can find selling of company and hiring of company in the praxi in the practical part of the thesis. Problems of operations with company are presented by SACH, spol. s r. o. and Podblanicko Louňovice, a. s. Both companies account transactions with company according to the Czech accounting standard No. 011. A reader can find impacts of the operations on the balances and statements of income of SACH, spol. s r. o. and Podlanicko Louňovice, a. s. in the practical part.
