Superplastic deformation of ultrafine-grained magnesium alloys with potential for use in medicine

Mechanical properties of ultra-fine grain magnesium alloys AE42 and LAE442 prepared by ECAP were investigated. The study was focused on finding suitable conditions for the superplastic deformation. In the first place, the thermal stability of the microstructure was investigated. Afterwards, the strain rate sensitivity was measured in the temperature range 180-240 řC and the strain rate of =5·10-5 -2·10-3 s-1 . Conditions for tensile tests of =10-4 s-1 at 180 ř C and =10-3 s-1 at 240 řC ware selected. Finally, the microstructure change as a result of deformation was observed by AFM and EBSD. The results were discussed with mechanical tests. The best superplastic properties were observed in LAE442 alloy deformed at 180 ř C and =10-4 s-1 . Under these conditions, the achieved tensile strain was 395%.

Guitar chord playing

The aim of my diploma thesis is to summarize my knowledge of the guitar chord playing during working in the institution Dům dětí a mládeže in České Budějovice where I have been teaching for four years. It is focused on readers who teach guitar chord playing as an after-school activity or who learn how to play on their own. In the first part of the thesis there is a concept about the lector's theoretical knowledge. The second part (containing particular lessons) deals with the methodology of teaching the very beginners with no musical education.

Control unit for 3G wireless module

This document deals with theoretical analysis of types and parameters of 3G UMTS modules. Briefly describing basic terms and principles of cellular networks and Global Position System. UMTS modules are firstly described from general point of view and subsequently there is comparison of two specific modules. Part of this document is practical design of control unit for 3G wireless module Telit UC864-G. Design starts with analysis of the module features and subsequently there is description of design procedure that begins with block diagram and ends with circuit schematic and printed circuit layout. Last part of this document describes construction of controll unit, its testing and finally even testing of module itself through serial bus RS-232 from PC with use of program with grafic interface, which have been written for this purpose.

Control unit for automatic laboratory manipulation system

This document deals with devices which are used for the automatic Gram staining. The document starts by a research with the aim to discover existing devices and to compare them to the concept of the device developed by company Biovendor. There is theoretically and then practically dealed with the methods of the rotor imbalance detection and measurement of water-level. The Practical part of this document describes the development of the control unit with the microcontroller ARM Cortex-M3 which will be used for the prototype development of Biovendor’s device. The Last part describes measurement of imbalance of three different rotors with the aid of the control unit.

Přestavba zemědělského objektu na rekreační objekt

This diploma thesis describes the design of the reconstruction of farm house to recreational house. The text part describes the owner's requirements, location of the area and building-technical survey of the existing building. With respect to the possibilities and requirements of the owner was drafted reconstruction on a holiday home. In the text section the concept of the entire proposal is described - the construction structures, design solutions, wood protection and thermal technical assessment. The building will be built as a timber frame ladder construction columnar system, such as thermal insulation material was selected from straw bales, the building envelope is designed as a diffuse open structure. It was also stated in the text of the technological process of selected construction operations.The drawings contain graphic design studies. Furthermore, the drawing part of the object based on the scope of project documentation submitted when applying for a building permit. The drawing part interferes with the implementation and production documentation.
