Volunteers and their Lead up in Humanitarian and Developing Organizations.

The term "Volunteering" as well as its sence has become well-known in today's society. Less knowledge we have about the process of preparations of volunteers before their final involvement in specific projects. This work focus on preparations of volunteers in organizations who operate in the field of humanitarian aid and development cooperation outside the European Union. The aim of this study is to survey particular phases of the contact between organizations and their volunteers especially the phase of training before sending the volunteers for their mission abroad. Volunteer's comments on the methods of preparations form a part of the work too. To reach the objective, the qualitative research was held, so that it was possible to describe the operating methods in focused organizations. During the research, the direct contact with volunteers and emloyees of organizations played an important role. The work is concluded with the survey of ascertained facts and resulting recomendations. Bronx - address substitution (reconstruction house of correction)

The diploma project is the architectural-urbanistic study of the old prison reuse as new centrum of social deprived city part of Brno called „Bronx of the Brno“ because of its appropriate location, urbanistic land configuration and present of specific „genius loci“. This work is following the theoretical study made as diploma preparation, which set the main direction of the work. The aim of this project is the coplex of buildings mostly used for alternative culture, alternative forms of living not only for the comunity of social deprived city part but also for complete land recovery, grow of attractivity and raise of the land price. The main idea is to change the wrong address of the bad reputation quarter.

Currency board: historie a současnost describes usage and functions of the Currency Board Arrangements and its application on real economies which used this arrangement during past years or stil use it. The goal of this bachaloreat thesis is determination of this regime to other systems, showing its historic origin, describtion of Currency board and its functions As well showing its macroeconomic and fiscal influence on economy. Empiric part is about analysing Currency board's advantages and disadvantages on examples of countries which decided to operate under Currency board such as: Hong Kong and Agentina.

The development of the number of the state fire supervision inspections performed by Fire Rescue System of the Czech Republic from year 2001 depending on the number of legal and business natural persons

The final thesis describes legislative development of the Czech Republic defining the state fire supervision. Next, it presents working aids which are used to unify the process of performing inspection activity within the state fire supervision. In addition, it presents individual steps involved in performing the fire inspection. There were set two hypotheses which correspond to the objective of the thesis. The aim of the thesis was to examine whether the number of performed fire inspections is sufficient considering the number of legal entities and natural persons conducting business activity in the Czech Republic. The practical part was elaborated in the form of qualitative research. The study group included the number of performed fire inspections within the state fire supervision of legal entities and natural persons conducting business activity, the number of members performing inspection activity and the number of legal entities and natural persons conducting business activity registered in registers of economic entities from 2001 to 2011. The research shows that if we checked all the economic entities in the Czech Republic during the fixed period, the repeated average period between fire inspections would be approximately 206 years. The average period of this enormous cycle has been decreasing since 2001 annually for about 5 years. To increase the efficiency of control activity I would suggest establishing a working group at the General Directorate of Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic which would determine according to the risk analysis the risk of performed activities, occurrence of large number of people and activities relevant to the functions of the state or the region, which establishments will be checked, in which periods and what kind of fire inspection will be performed. Therefore, it is necessary to create an integrated information and communication system which enables to store data and documents and follows the procedure of all departments of FRS CR focusing on prevention in similar cases.

Regression and correlation analysis of time development of the traffic accidents number at transportation of dangerous substances in a selected region.

The aim of this thesis was to conduct a statistical survey and the measurement of statistical dependences of time development of the traffic accident rate at transportation of dangerous solid, liquid and gaseous substances, including their total number and also in case of leakage of these substances in a selected region "the Czech Republic". The purpose of the thesis was to verify statistical data, or more precisely, verification of two basic hypotheses H1 and H2, and five sub-hypotheses H11, H12, H13, H14, H15. For these verifications methods of descriptive and mathematical statistics were used, especially regression and correlation analysis in hypothesis H1. To verify hypothesis H2, nonparametric normality test as a technique of mathematical statistics was applied. Verification of hypotheses H1 and their sub-hypotheses H11, H12, H13, H14, H15 enabled to prove linear regression associated with negative correlation within the development of traffic accidents at transportation of dangerous substances in annual units of time (2002 to 2011). Verification of hypothesis H2 enabled to demonstrate normality in distribution of the number of accidents at transportation of dangerous substances within individual months of the monitored period from 2007 to 2011. As benefits of this thesis both the proposal of the sequence of statistical methods for examining the research topic and the application of the mentioned statistical methods to the number of traffic accidents at transportation of dangerous substances can be considered Based on the results of this study, possible follow-up research work may be suggested. A research is proposed which would survey the ways of prevention or other factors leading to negative correlation dependence. Another possibility of follow-up research work could be, for example, statistical surveys and the measurement of statistical dependences in regions of the CR or investigation of the theoretical distribution of the number of traffic accidents at transportation of dangerous substances within a different time unit.

The Verification of the Correctness of Data Entering into the System that Simulates Consequences of Radiation Accident with an Outflow to the Environment

The Verification of the Correctness of Data Entering into the System that Simulates Consequences of Radiation Accident with an Outflow to the Environment The thesis is aimed to verify the correctness of the data entering the system that is able to simulated consequences following radiation accident with a release of radiation into the atmosphere. The object of testing the correctness were the data used in the program RTARC, which has been used in the nuclear power plant Temelin, for the case all security barriers fail and radioactive substances get into the environment. This program works with real orographic data that were obtained from existing maps. The aim of this work was to carry out complete analysis of current orographic system that has been used by the program RTARC; to get through alternative methods supplementary or more specific orographic data; to verify the correctness of the orographic data that enter system RTARC; to analyze consequences of possible abnormalities. To verify the correctness of entry data, we used the program Google Earth. The object of my investigation was to examine altitude data within the net with zones, found in sectors determining possible directions of radionuclide spreading through the atmosphere into the environment surrounding the nuclear power plant Temelin. We found that there were differences between altitude data in some zones. To assess the consequences of these found differences, we tested influence of the terrain on the development of the atmospheric turbulent diffusion. The goal of this test was to find out if the program RTARC which uses Gaussian dispersion model is accurate. We found that the program RTARC is applicable for the area ETE and the differences in original data and new data concerning the altitudes are negligible from this point of view. The Thesis will be used as a background for updating orographic data used in RTARC program.
