Ventilation and air conditioning of the sports hall
Lechnýř, Zdeněk ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the following ventilation equipment of the sports hall. The theoretical part deals with the topic of air distribution in hall buildings. In the practical part of the work, two air handling units are designed. The first air handling unit controls the hot air heating and air conditioning of the gym. The second unit controls the forced ventilation of the facilities for athletes. The project documentation of ventilation and air conditioning for the specified object is elaborated in the final part.
Ventilation for the shopping center
Brychta, Radek ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor’s thesis is a plan of ventilation for the shopping centre. Devices are designed so they meet operational, functional and hygienic requirements in considered spaces. The theoretical part aims to noise reduction in the ventilation.
The thermal conductivity of non-standard materials for HVAC
Běťák, Karel ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the determination of the thermal conductivity coefficient on the group of thermoplastics used for 3D printing (PLA, ABS, PETG). The thesis describes the materials used for 3D printing and the design of air conditioning for the grocery store. A stationary method was used for the solution. The heat flux passing through the sample was measured and the thermal conductivity coefficient was calculated. By the chosen method, we determined the coefficient is = 0,11-0,13 W/(m·K). Comparison with the available results of other methods and authors has shown that the resulting coefficient is lower. Based on the data, it is possible to compare the thermal properties of 3D printing materials.
Environmental solutions of building guesthouse in Velká Bíteš
Bachmayer, Milan ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The main aim of the Master project is a design of the guesthouse with wellness, which has nearly zero-energy consumption and is located in Velká Bíteš. For design is used ARCHICAD, for numeric is used DEKSOFT. This Master project consists of three parts. The first part focuses on the design of the guesthouse, the second part concentrates on a technical design and the third part focuses on the draft of different energy sources, its comparison and evaluation. Guesthouse is a three-story building with walkable flat roof. Wellness, cold rooms and massages are located in the basement. Other places of floor consist of sanitary facilities, technical rooms and common rooms. There are also guest rooms on the other floors and a conference hall on the third room. This final draft has much more positive outcomes than other alternatives; with respect to primary energy and impact on the environment. However, the final draft has higher purchase costs and its financial and operational economy is extremely dependent on the prices of electric power.
Analysis of bank ventilation
Grbál, Jakub ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is the simulation of different types of air conditioners using the CFD methods. The main goal of this thesis is to design the most suitable type of air conditioning in the consideration room, due to the air flow rate in the residental area. The conclusion of the work is to devote the design of air conditioning system with the application of selected type of air conditioning based on the results of CFD simulations.
Airconditioning for expectoral beds in a hospital building
Snášel, Michal ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The topic of this Bachelor thesis is a design of two air handling units for Emergency Room and nearby surroundings in the hospital’s area. The devices are designed to meet the operating, hygienic and functional requirements for internal microclimate. The tasks for these devices are air conditioning, coverage of heat loss, venting the thermal load and moisturizing the air. The theoretical part is focused on air handling units and their parts.
Airconditioning for Banking center
Fára, Tomáš ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis looks into the proposal of ventilation for a banking center. In detail there are solved all rooms including large halls and sanitary facilities. The building is two-floor. Halls and conference rooms are air-conditioned by central air-conditioning equipment. Heat load is partially conducted away by under-ceiling fancoils and partially by air-conditioning equipment. Sanitary facilities and offices are ventilated by the second device. The theoretical part is focused on the combined air-conditioning systems.
Energy efficient building of kindergarten in Holubice
Čtvrtečka, Václav ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the master project is to design a kindergarten in Holubice, Czechia. The building has three parts. First includes classrooms and auxiliary premises (locker rooms, washrooms, etc.), second technical and staff facilities and the third one includes a gym with equipment storage. The first two parts are designed using load-bearing masonry, reinforced concrete floor slab and flat roof. Gym has a load-bearing system combining masonry and structural frame covered by a semi-circular flat roof. The whole building is equipped with HVAC systems. Heating energy is supplied by two condensing gas boilers. Air quality will be maintained by an air conditioning system. Photovoltaic panels are placed on the roof to support electricity. Rainwater will be collected in accumulation tanks and further used for flushing on the toilets and garden irrigation. The project was developed using AutoCAD (drawings) and Revit. The secondary task of the work is an extensive measurement of the CO2 concentration in a room with forced ventilation. The aim is to combine automatic regulation of forced ventilation, depending on the concentration of CO2. The result of such regulation is higher air comfort, service life of individual HVAC members and saving electricity.
Ventilation of a multifunctional building
Vozák, Daniel ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
First part of bachelot’s thesis is focused on general principes of ventilation and air treatment by air – conditioning system. Second part is focused on design of air – conditioning system in second floor of multifunctional building. The main rooms and hygienic facilities for the main rooms are addressed. Heat load coverage is addressed by the air – conditioning systém, or in combination with inderect cooling or inderect cooling only. In the third part the documentation for the implementation of these designed air – conditioning systém is elaborated.
Energy-saving kindergarten building in Trutnov
Lacko, Martin ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis is to propose the construction of a new kindergarten with almost zero energy consumption. The building is purposefully divided into three parts, with one part serving as facilities for staff, the second part consisting of classrooms for children, and the third part comprising a speech therapy clinic. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on the design of the structural solution, which involves a single-story, without basement structure. Load-bearing vertical structures are made of aerated concrete masonry, and horizontal load-bearing structures consist of hollow precast Spiroll panels. The building's roof is designed as a flat, single-layer, extensive green roof. The second part is dedicated to the design of the HVAC system. A heat pump air/water system is proposed as the source of heating and cooling, with a gas boiler as a bivalent source. The heating of the building will be provided through radiators, except for the classrooms, which will have floor heating. Air exchange is ensured through mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. Additionally, a hybrid photovoltaic power plant on the roof partially supplies the building with electricity. The third part involves an experiment on a ventilated facade, where temperature measurements in the air gap are conducted. The result is a comparison between an open ventilated facade and a closed ventilated facade.
