Minor Cereals growing in the Czech Republic
TOMANOVÁ, Marie
The bachelor's thesis, prepared in the form of a literary research, provides informa-tion on individual minority cereals and pseudo-cereals, which are grown in the Czech Republic. For each of the crops, the history of its cultivation and expansion of cultivation areas, botanical characteristics, morphology and examples of vari-eties, as well as demands on the environment, agricultural technology, harvest, inc-luding post-harvest treatment and use are given. The representation of cereals and pseudo-cereals in Czech fields is also outlined.
Determination of Procaine by Flow Injection and Sequential Injection Analysis with Spectrophotometric Determination
Tomanová, Marie ; Hraníček, Jakub (advisor) ; Rychlovský, Petr (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused to the determination of procaine using flow injection and sequential injection analysis coupled with spectrophotometric detection. This determination is based on the reaction of procaine with a colouring agent, 1,2-naphthoquinone-4-sulfonic acid. An orange coloured product is formed, which is determined spectrophotometrically at the wavelength 484 nm. The high of the absorption signal of the product is directly proportional to the concentration of procaine. The aim of this work was to optimize the parameters of both methods of flow analysis so that the limit concentration of procaine can be as low as possible and at the same time, high sensibility is achieved. The next step was to apply these methods on the determination of procaine in real samples. It was found that in flow injection analysis, the absorbance of procaine hydrochloride obeys Beer's law for concentrations from 2.5 to 120 µg/ml. The linear regression equation of calibration graph was y = 0.0059x - 0.0051, with a linear regression correlation coefficient 0.9993. Limit of detection was 0.72 µg/ml. Effects of standing time (stopped-flow), flow rate, concentration of colouring agent, pH and the volume of the sample loop have been examined and optimized. It was also found that in sequential injection...

Support material for teaching NMR spectroscopy at secondary schools
Tomanová, Marie ; Tošner, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Hrubý, Martin (referee)
Nuclear magnetic resonance is an important, irreplaceable and very common method used in chemistry and medicine. From this perspective, it is highly desirable to implement NMR spectroscopy into high school education. But unfortunately there is not enough material in the Czech language, which would correspond to a high school student's level of knowledge. This thesis looks at creating support materials for teaching NMR spectroscopy and the possibilities of its implementation into high school education. For this purpose, following materials were prepared: an educational text, tests and a database of measured spectra (appendix on CD). Materials were tested in the form of a directed interview and then modified according to the results. This testing confirmed that the text is clear, motivating, and that this topic would be appreciated by both students and teachers. The materials will be available for teachers and high school students at the educational portal studiumchemie.cz. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Materials for education on the theme Aromatic compounds at secondary schools
Tomanová, Marie ; Šulcová, Renata (advisor) ; Stratilová Urválková, Eva (referee)
Tomanová, M.: Materials for education on theme Aromatic compounds at secondary schools. Bachelor thesis, Faculty of Science Charles University in Prague, Department of Teaching & Didactics of Chemistry. The theme of Aromatic compounds is not covered fully in secondary school textbooks, the theme is given little space and it is not broad enough. For this reason this teaching materials on Aromatic compounds was created, so that it fully corresponds to my ideas and requirements. The bachelor thesis is my own teaching material focused mainly on the content of teaching. First it was explored empirically how the theme of Aromatic compounds was covered in textbooks available for primary and secondary schools. These particular teaching materials were compared using my own criteria. After that this teaching materials were created with inspiration from secondary school and academic textbooks. A guideline for teachers is attached to the text materials together with a PowerPoint presentation for help with visualising of the subject. Thesis in the following Master degree of teaching will be extended with other didactical materials suitable for strengthening and broadening the subject.
Analýza ekologického zemědělství v kraji Vysočina a možnosti přechodu konvenční rodinné farmy do ekologického režimu hospodaření
Tomanová, Marie
Diploma with topic "Organic farming in the region Vysočina and options of transition of conventional family farm to organic farming" was focused on the options of transition to conventional family farm to organic farming. The objective of the review of literature resources was characteristic of the importance of organic farming and condition in Czech Republic, also in the states of EU. In the experimental part I was trying outline the situation, in which it is considering Benda's family farms Chotěbudice entry into organic régime of financial management. I compared economic situation of Benda's farm to compare with the transitions to organic farming. The result is, that agricultural production is achieves higher profits than in organic farming. In the end of the thesis, it is said, that compare with the transition to organic farming would not be for Benda's farm suitable not at all. Mainly because, there is lower profits than in conventional farming, and also for strict legislative conditions.
Educational drama and the teacher in a kindergarten
