Cílem této zprávy je zhodnotit stav ryb v povrchových vodách, nejen z hlediska hygienické kvality, ale především z hlediska celkové zdravotní kondice, fyziologického stavu, reprodukce atd. Biochemické markery obvykle reagují na skupiny látek se stejným mechanismem toxického působení. Nejsou tedy až na výjimky specifické pro jednotlivé xenobiotické látky. Jejich předností je schopnost vypovídat o vlivu znečištění komplexně, tzn. podchytit synergické či antagonistické účinky jednotlivých komponent, podílejících se na znečištění.

V roce 2004 byla zaměřena pozornost na zjišťování vlivu 3 nejvýznamějších znečišťovatelů řeky Labe - Synhesie Pardubice, Spolana Neratovice a Spolchemie Ústí nad Labem - na populace ryb vyskytujících se v okolí těchto chemických závodů. Sledovány byly lokality nad a pod výše uvedenými zdroje znečištění. Vliv znečištění na rybí populace byl posuzován pomocí vybraných biochemických markerů kontaminace a chemických analýz svaloviny ryb. Jako indikátorový druh byl použit jelec tloušť.

Bylo provedeno hodnocení kontaminace vodního prostředí na šesti vybraných lokalitách, které se nacházejí na malých tocích povodí Labe nad a pod čistírnami odpadních vod. Sledovány byly lokality Pacov, Brloh a Prachatice. Vliv kontaminace životního prostředí na ryby byl ve vybraných lokalitách hodnocen pomocí markerů kontaminace (vitellogenin, EROD). Indikátorovým druhem byl pstruh obecný. Byla zjišťována přítomnost širokého spektra biologicky aktivních skupin cizorodých látek ve vodním prostředí. Byla zjišťována přítomnost rtuti a PFCs ve směsných vzorcích masa ryb. Proběhly laboratorní testy zaměřené na hodnocení vlivu vybraných farmak a pesticidů. Byly prováděny testy akutní toxicity a subchronické toxicity. Z dosažených výsledků vyplývá, že malé obce jsou velmi významným zdrojem kontaminace vodního prostředí širokým spektrem biologicky účinných sloučenin, které se do vodního prostředí dostávají v koncentracích negativně ovlivňující vodní organismy. Zpráva obsahuje pouze stručné shrnutí výsledků projektu a články, které byly k projektu publikovány.

Impact of genetically modified maize expressing Cry3Bb1 toxin on the non-target organisms.

Presented study compares impacts of the GM maize MON 88017 and the non-transgenic maize on the non-target invertebrates. The Diabrotica-resistant and herbicide-tolerant GM maize may become important for most of Europe as the spred of Diabrotica virgifera virgifera LeConte continues but its implementation has been hindered by fears of undesirable environmental effects. I confirmed that MON88017 expresses the insecticidal Cry3Bb1 toxin but I found no evidence of any negative impact on the monitored species. Both the composition and the species abundances of invertebrate communities were similar to those in the stands of the conventional non-transgenic maize varieties.

The development of \kur{Spodoptera littoralis} (Boisduval) on the geneticaly modified potatoe expressing bacterial toxin Cry3Aa

Spodoptera littoralis (Boisd.) larvae were fed potato leaves of the variety Newleaf Superior (NLS) that expresses Bacillus thuringiensis toxin Cry3Aa and is therefore resistant to the Colorado potato beetle, Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Say). The leaf content of Cry3Aa was determined by ELISA. Control larvae received leaves of the nearly isogenic but nontransgenic potato variety Superior. The developmental rate, mortality, weight of prepupa or pupa, female fecundity, and the egg hatchability of S. littoralis were independent of the potato type. The results suggest that Cry 3Aa toxin in the potatoe leaves has no negative effect on the development of caterpillars that consume them.

The past, present, and future of the DIALOG corpus

The DIALOG corpus is a special corpus of spoken Czech, consisting of video recordings and transcripts of television discussions. The working form of the corpus contains more than two million words. In the introductory section of this paper, we discuss the motivation that led the researchers from the Czech Language Institute, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic to collect and analyze dialogical speech, and we also present an overview of the publications based on work with the corpus. In the second section, we provide information about turning the collected material into an electronic linguistic corpus and about the basic characteristics of the working version of the DIALOG corpus and its first public version, known as DIALOG 0.1 (http://ujc.dialogy.cz). In the concluding section, we present the anticipated schedule for releasing the corpus for public access; we also indicate some currently relevant areas of research that can benefit from using the DIALOG corpus.

Tools for deepening customer loyalty in the banking sector

This diploma thesis deals with loyalty and tools which could deepen the loyalty of customers. The thesis provides theoretical background of the theme and outlines essence of the customer loyalty for consequent proposition of tools for its creation. At the beginning of this thesis the conception of loyalty is supported by basic facts of marketing theory, e.g. marketing communication, marketing mix and brand. The thesis continues with essence of loyalty, aspects of loyalty, its drivers, possibilities of satisfaction and loyalty meassurement and effects of loyalty with focus on banking sector. Further this part defines the banking sector, specifics of banking product and developement trends in banking. Partially the influence of current economical crisis on customer loyalty is taken into account. Practical part is focused on description and practical examples of each tool which extends customer loyalty to bank institution in Czech republic and abroad as well. Tools are divided by marketing mix elements according to prevalent characteristics corresponding with the given element. Next are mentioned suggestions to proposition of new loyalty program. The thesis set 3 possible ways of future developement of customer loyalty creation.These ways are focus on simple program resembling to sales promotion, complex program creating real customer loyalty and focus on soft elements (e.g. service quality and pleasant surrounding). At the conclusion is given recommendation for future developement of customer loyalty creation in Česká spořitelna.

Práce se zabývá loajalitou a jejím postavením v dnešní společnosti. V teoretické části jsou zdůrazněny hlavní zlomové okamžiky ve vývoji loajality a vymezení jednotlivých druhů loajalitních programů. Praktická část je zaměřena na deskripci věrnostního programu České spořitelny ? Bonus program. Následuje průzkum mezi členy tohoto programu a jejich následná segmentace do několika segmentů, dle kterých jsou pak navržena jednotlivá doporučení pro zlepšení programu. [cs]
