Diplomová práce Principy a nástroje podnikatelské etiky 109 Principles and Instruments of Business Ethics Resume The dominant theme of this diploma thesis is principles and instruments of business ethics. The paper consists of three main parts. The first part contains opening information, necessary for proper understanding of the business ethics itself. The elementary philosophical terms are explained, as they make it easier to grasp the rest of the paper. The chapters on philosophical roots of ethics and on relationship between law and ethics follow. Knowledge mastered by reading these chapters helps the reader to set the main questions of business ethics into broader context and thus to better understand them. The following chapter serves as a bridge between the introductory part and parts which deal with the business ethics itself. It familiarizes the terms of economical theory and introduces the questions of business ethics. This chapter points to the cohesion between ethics, economics and law. The next chapters are focused on particular aspects of business ethics. Term of values plays the lead role, therefore it is examined in detail in separate chapter. Cultural houses in the Central Bohemian region (1945 - 1972)

The bachelor thesis deals with general development of the type of Cultural house in the period between 1945 and 1972. In total, 11 case studies of Central Bohemia realizations were presented, as well as 20 additional examples within the former Czechoslovakia, always in the range of available archive material. The case studies were accompanied by sub-chapters about the legislative definition, along with overviews of state efforts in the field of typification, short characteristics of the historical development of architecture and social situation of the given period. Within the attachment, short professional medallions of architects, painters, sculptors and designers participating in the realizations mentioned in the text are attached. Urban and architectural transformation of a former industrial site Karolina

The work deals with urban and architectural development of the industrial site Karolina in Ostrava. In terms of similar industrial areas, Karolina is outstanding in unusual location in the vicinity of the city center. On the edge of the central Moravian Ostrava was growing in the late 19th and throughout the 20th century industrial park with an area of around thirty hectares, which had an impact on the overall image of the city. The local coking plant and the near Žofínský smelter were operated until the second half of 20th century when the heavy industry started loosing its importance. With plans for the necessary redevelopment of the area was also important to show how to use the whole area in the future. Even in the end of the '60s was first few urbanistic studies. Some of them included demolition of the local buildings and also a solution for the new area look in the future. Proposals for the completion of Karolina were many, since the late '80s there were several urban planning and architectural competitions and later in 2000 even with international participation. The surprising result of forty years of development for the Karolina, eventually in 2006 became a developer competition, which notionally sealed the development of the entire area in the future.
