The theme of global warming in the journals Respekt and Reflex in 2020 - a comparative study

Global warming, or global climate change, respectively, is a term used for increase in global air and the Earth's surface temperatures observed since the mid-20th century. This serious topic is often discussed by many experts in different specialities, media, and the general public. Media is concentrated not only on the impacts of this climate change, but also on the opinions exchange, debates and discussions, particularly on discussions between experts. One of many roles of media is to be a platform for plenty of ideas. The majority of experts accept the hypothesis about ecological consequences of human activities since the industrial revolution (anthropogenic global climate change hypothesis). This idea is taken as the basis for global and local climatological, political, economic, ecological, and other efforts to adapt or restrict the human activities that has an undesirable climatic impacts or severe side effects in nature. However, opponents point out that periods of global warming are natural in the total geological history of Earth and that human activity (in this point) is not crucial.
