Volumetric Method for the Determining kg CO2 eq. and Energy Requirements for the Production of Power Tools at an Early Stage of Product Design
Design and ergonomics of hand tools
Sovják, Richard ; Prokeš, Tomáš (referee) ; Mouralová, Kateřina (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the power tools ergonomics and also on the economic impact on a sick employee in the Czech Republic. It presents the results of the characteristics of hand tools in terms of their design, usage positions and handling. It introduces current legislation and ergonomic methods, including the newly designed visual tool AAL. The tool enables ergonomic analysis of positional rotation of the limbs, torso and neck, including the input of strength and muscle parameters. AAL is integrated into Excel software with the possibility of integrating data from Rhinoceros software and the Grasshopper module, which automatically generates data. The analysis is based on 3D scans of 144 power tools that are divided into 11 groups. It analyzes 13 typical diseases and their economic impacts. From an economic point of view, the costs per sick employee are almost 57% higher compared to a healthy employee. The author's design of the ergonomic part of the tool is also part of the thesis.
Design of Military Multiband Handheld Transceiver
Truhlář, Jonáš ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Sovják, Richard (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis deals with construction and design concept of a tactical handheld multiband radio which is a part of military production. There is an effort to spread this device to another extreme professions, where it could find its utilization. The design priorities are the construction and ergonomic improvements with an aesthetic balance between the military and civilian usage. The thesis provides the preview to specific military technique and its innovation.
Design of Outdoor Wireless Speaker
Kráčmarová, Gabriela ; Haltof, Vladimír (referee) ; Sovják, Richard (advisor)
Thebachelor thesis dealswiththe design ofanoutdoorwirelessspeaker. Theaimwas to design a functionalfriendly design thatwillwithstandadverseeffects in nature. Theproductisdesignedwithergonomics, weight (up to 750 g), additionalfeatures (lighting and FM) and technology in mind. Emphasiswasplaced on comfortabletransmission, innovativeappearance, pleasant and easyhandling, enriched by additionallightingfunctions (decorative, warning, stroboscopic, replacingthe lamp and lantern), Power Bank and listening to radiostationsthanks to FM. It is a speakerwithadaptedpartsfor a suitablegrip (handles), abounding in surroundsound and with a fullyroundedcover made ofdurablematerial. Theenduranceisprotected by a li-pol 8,000 mAhbatterywithrechargingfrom USB C. The design istargetedattheactive part ofthepopulation, whichcan use it in thefield (IP67 protection).
Design of Circulator Pump
Březnová, Tereza ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Sovják, Richard (advisor)
The Bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a circulator pump. The aim of this thesis is to design a circulator pump to solve existing circulator pump problems that have emerged from the research. Using a new, innovative design, a final solution was created to deal with ergonomic and other functional requirements. This created a new circulator pump design with a system that could be commonly used in the user's favour in the future.
Design of Welding Helmet with Respirator
Paš, Antonín ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Sovják, Richard (advisor)
The bachelor thesis analyzes current offer of welding helmets on the market and searches for aspects that are to be improved. Based on conclusions made during critical research, a new concept of welding helmet with integrated powered air purifying respirator was designed. Crucial aspects of the design are innovative appearance, improvement of ergonomic qualities and fulfilling safety demands. Final concept suggests, which technologies might become future standard of protective equipment for welders.
Design of Floor Lamp
Mandáková, Adéla ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Sovják, Richard (advisor)
This bachelor theses deals with a design of a standard lamp. Since it is to be an interior lighting it is essential to pay attention to ergonomic and aesthetic aspects and to project a suitable shape settlement. The author has chosen an untraditional approach to capture a broad range of users. The design of the lamp is mainly based on modularisation, but also on an unorthodox appearance of the structure created after the lamp is assembled. The whole model is complemented with modern materials that underline the design itself and the function of the lamp.
Design of Syringe Pump
Růčka, Jakub ; Buganská, Tamara (referee) ; Sovják, Richard (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis deals with designing a syringe pump. This design is intended mostly for hospital environment. This thesis includes analysis current market trends and technologies behind the product, deals with problems about ergonomics aspects, shape solutions and confusing user interface with respect to aesthetic and technical aspects.
