Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of status after ankle fracture osteosynthesis. Aim: The aim of this bachelor' s thesis is to present basic information on ankle fractures and to elaborate a case report of a patient with this diagnoses. Methods: This research was based on the processing of literature on the topic. It is divided into two parts - a general part and a special part. The general part contains basic information about anatomy and function of the ankle joint, kinesiology. It contains also traumatology, physioterapeutic methods and procedures that can be used in a patient with mentioned diagnosis. The special part contains casuistic of a patient and includes anamnestic data, input kinesiological analysis. The therapies are processed individually according to the patient' s attendance and are finished with the output of kinesiological analysis with evaluation of the therapy effects. Author: Andrea Valovičová Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient with total knee replacement Objectives: The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to introduce the problematics of total knee replacement based on literature research. The objective of the practical part is to introduce a case report of a patient after total knee replacement. Methods: The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and special (practical). The theoretical part provides basic knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology of the knee joint, gonarthrosis, total knee replacement and the subsequent rehabilitation care. The special part contains a case study of a patient after total knee replacement. The study was executed during continuous professional practice in CLPA s.r.o. The special part consists of the kinesiological analysis, the proposition of the short-time and long-time therapy, the description of individual therapeutic units and the outcome of the kinesiological analysis and evaluation of the effect of the therapy. Results: The patient has completed 8 therapeutic units during which there was an observable improvement in the range of motion of the left knee, strengthening of the weakened muscles and reduction of the joint swelling and pain. Milan Martínek Year of defense: 2021 Objectives: The purpose of my bachelor thesis is to compose a case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after total knee replacement due to knee osteoarthritis during her stay at CLPA. Also, to present the theoretical foundation for the practical part of the thesis which focuses on the knee joint, knee osteoarthritis, conservative and surgical treatment, total knee replacement and following rehabilitation. Method: This bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part the topics of knee joint, knee osteoarthritis, total knee replacement and following rehabilitation are discussed. The practical part contains entry and leaving examination of a patient, goals and plans for rehabilitation and description of therapeutic units. The latter part is based on bachelor practice at CLPA in May 2020. Results: The physiotherapeutic methods used were effective. The physical condition of the patient improved.

Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with a diagnosis of unilateral above-knee amputation. Objectives: The goal of the study is to summarize the theoretical information and findings about the problematics of amputation, with a focus on above-knee amputation,and further elaborationon a case study concerninga patient with a diagnosis of unilateral above-knee amputation. Methods: The bachelor thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part summarizes knowledge from academic literature about lower limb amputation caused by the peripheral vascular diseases, and a further elaboration on lower limb prosthetics and the rehabilitation care for patients before and after amputation. The practical part consists of a case study about a patient with a diagnosis of unilateral above-knee amputation. It includes medical history, initial kinesiological analysis, therapeutic plan, description of therapeutic units, closing kinesiological analysis and evaluation of the effects of the prescribed therapy. The case study was made during practise in the CLPA in Prague, based on the theoretical knowledge processed in the first part of the thesis. Methods: The case study consists of initial kinesiological examination, short-term and long- term physiotherapeutical plan, suggestion of therapy, nine described therapeutic units, final kinesiological examination and evaluation of the therapy effects. Methods: Bachelor thesis is divided into two parts - a general part and a special part. General part summarises the basic facts concerning the anatomy and kinesiology of the knee joint. This part also describes arthritic disease and its surgical treatment by implantation of total knee replacement. At the end of the general part, summary of the possibilities of physiotherapeutic treatment of patients with this diagnosis, is presented. The case study is based on the theoretical information described in the first part of this thesis. Methods: The bachelor thesis consists of two parts - theoretical part and special part. The theoretical part contains an anatomical description of the knee joint and its kinesiology. It also covers the issue of knee osteoarthritis and information about total knee replacement with following physiotherapy. The special part introduces the case study after total knee replacement and includes a detailed plan of therapies performed in Rehabilitation hospital in Beroun. Results: The main improvement was in the range of motion of the knee, reduction of the swelling and bruising, increased muscle strength and restoration of the joint play of blocked joints. Summary: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present a complex overview of the topic of total knee replacement. The theoretical part covers the anatomy and the kinesiology of the knee joint, gonarthrosis, types of knee replacements, surgical therapy and subsequent rehabilitation treatment. The practical part contains case study of a patient with total knee replacement which comprises entry kinesiological analysis, short-term and long-term therapeutical plan, daily therapy records, final kinesiological analysis and conclusive evaluation of the therapy effect. The results of the physiotherapeutical treatment are greater range of flexion and extension in the subject knee, muscle strengthening in the area and overall improvement of clinical status of the patient. The summary of theoretical knowledge and a case study of one patient. Methods: The theoretical part of the thesis is elaborated in the form of a literature research. It describes the important information of anatomy, kinesiology and hand function. The traumatology side discusses possible fractures in the area of the forearm, the possibilities of treating the injuries and the most commonly used physiotherapeutic methods. The special part is a case study of a patient after distal radius fracture. Case study of the physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with total knee replacement

This thesis deals with problematics of total knee arthroplasty (TKA) in a complex range. It is divided into two parts - the general one and the special one. The general part of the thesis targets on theoretical knowledge of the anatomy and kinesiology of the knee joint, knee arthritis and TKA as the most performed method of therapeutic intervetion in advanced stages of knee arthritis. Secondly, the special part contains the case study of the physiotherapeutic treatment in patient after TKA. Non-invasive methods and approaches in a range of the knowledge of the bachelor's studies on the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University, were used during the pshysiotherapeutic treatment. Improvement of the patient's clinical status in almost all sections was the result of the physiotherapeutic intervention.
