Title: The role ofsoort in the convicťs life Goals ofthe thesis: To specify the conditions for the physical training, sport and testing ofthe motoric level ofthe condemned in the Kynšperk nad Ohří prison. Method: The clarifying of the conditions for the physical training and sport of the condemned was determined on the basis ofthe questionnaire method and the guided interviews. The testing of the motoric level was realised by means ofthe standardized UNIFITIEST 6-60. Conclusion: The conditions for the physical training and sport of the condemned were defined and the same time the motoric level ofthe convicts was exposed. To describe the level of care of sports in municipalities associated in the Region Povodí Mratínského potoka. There was used the case study and relevant collection method. The primary information resources was questioning, mainly using a standardized questionaire, also persona! and telephone questioning. The level of care of sports in municipalities of the Region Povodí Mratínského potoka was researched here. The cooperation ofmunicipalities in the sports sphere was described in the Region case. Space and material factors influencing sport of 11-15 years old adolescents with regard to school specialization

Thesis: Soort conditions in Pilsen for secondary schoollevel children Object ofwork: The goal of the thesis is to find out actual situation of sport space conditions for children of secondary school age level and whether the real facilities in studied locality of Pilsen are sufficient enough. These findings I will further compare with children's opinions on place and material conditions. This attitude information I intend to extract from questionnaire survey. Eventually I will propose proceedings to improve actual situation. Method: To obtain the mentioned data I applied empirie quantitative research through ofuse of standardized questionnaire and interview. Data of quantitative character were analyzed by PC program Microsoft Excel. Results: Generally we can consider sport conditions for secondary school level children in Pilsen as satisfactory, especially space conditions in locality ofhabitation and economical rear of Pilsen's families are on a solid level, this fmding was also confirmed by children themselves. As well the number and situation of sport facilities offering sport self-realization is adequate to nowadays children's requirement, especially for organized forms of sport activities. Position of the local authority in sport promotion in a middle size town - case study of Příbram

Summary: Title: The role of local government in sports cultivation of a middle-size city - a case study of the city Příbram with emphasis on sports equipment. Supervisor: Doc. PhDr. Irena Slepičková, Csc. Aim: The goal ofthis thesis is to find out what role the local government performs in the area ofsport encouragement in Příbram. Methods: I utilized the knowledge and methods of the qualitative research in my thesis. I used a case study as a plan ofthe qualitative research. Results: My research showed that the local government of the town Přibram tries to support the local sports activity providers within its resources. The funding policy of the city government towards sport subjects seems, in my opinion, fair and purposeful thanks to the use of detailed principles in the sports activity funding process. Název: Mediální obraz zimních olympijských her v Turíně - zaměření na gender tématiku v českých denících News from winter Olymp Games were broadcasting - Czech journalist writers where interested in gender them Cíl práce: Tato práce se soustředí na zhodnocení mediálního obrazu zimních olympijských her v Turíně a klade důraz na gender tématiku v různých typech tištěných deníků. Následně pak na porovnání, jakým způsobem se tyto prezentace odlišují ve specializovaném, bulvárním a seriózním tisku. Metoda: Výzkum byl prováděn pomocí kvantitativní analýzy sdělení (textů a obrázků) prezentovaných ve sportovním deníku Sport, bulvárním deníku Blesk a seriózním deníku Mladá Fronta DNES a to v období od jednoho dne před zahájením zimních olympijských her, až do jednoho dne po ukončení těchto her. Výsledky: Výsledky popisují, jakým způsobem byly zimní olympijské hry v Turíně prezentovány v jednotlivých typech českých deníků a následně tyto prezentace porovnávají. Název práce: Prezentace zimních olympijských her v televizních zpravodajstvích s důrazem na gender problematiku Title : Presentation of The Winter Olympic games in TV sport news with focus on Gender problematic Cíl práce: Cílem výzkumu bylo kvantitativní hodnocení prezentace zimních olympijských her ve zpravodajství veřejnoprávní televizní stanice České televize a komerční televizní stanice TV Nova. To vše s důrazem na gender problematiku. Tento hlavní cíl pro objektivní posouzení byl diskutován také s ohledem na počty českých účastníků mužů a žen a jejich úspěšnost na ZOH 2006. Metody práce: Data byla získávána pomocí obsahové analýzy mediálních sdělení sportovních televizních relací v době konání 20. zimních olympijských her v Turíně 2006. Data jsem získala cestou podrobných měření jednotlivých úseků zpravodajství a zanášením získaných údajů do předem připravených tabulek dle kódového klíče. V celém výzkumu se pracovalo s časovou jednotkou - vteřina. Výsledky: Porovnání prezentace zimních olympijských her na vybraných televizních stanicích, porovnání celkového času věnovanému ženám a mužům v rámci zpravodajských relací, přehled účasti českých mužů žen na ZOH 2006, jejich úspěšnost v rámci jednotlivých disciplín. Název práce: Evropská unie a její vzdělávací programy zaměřené na mládež- aplikace programů v České republice. Anglický název práce: E.U. educational programmes focused on youth applied in the Czech republic. Cíle práce: Cílem práce je charakterizovat programy Evropské unie zaměřené na mládež a analyzovat jejich fungování v České republice. Druhým cílem je Analýza ,,Programu Mládež" a přijatých projektů do České národní agentury Mládež za rok 2005. Metoda: Kombinace kvalitativního a kvantitativního výzkumu. Použita byla obsahová analýza textových dokumentů, neformální rozhovor a kvantitativní analýza dokumentů ke zjištění četnosti pomocí jednoduchých statistických metod. Výsledky: Byly charakterizovány programy EU zaměřené na mládež a jejich fungování v České republice za minulá období. V případě programu Mládež byly analyzovány projekty zarok2005. Leisure Time Physical Activities of Pupils from 6th and 9th Class in Náchod and its Neighbourhood

Souhrn: Záměrem práce bylo analyzovat místo pohybových aktivit u žáků 6. a 9. tříd ZŠ z Náchoda a okolních vesnic, zjistit geografickou a ekonomickou podmíněnost. Název diplomové práce: Pohybové aktivity ve volném čase žáků 6. a 9. tříd ZŠ v Náchodě a okolí The title of the diploma work: Leisure time Physical activities of pupels' from 6th and 9 th class in Náchod and its neighbourhood Cíl práce: Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit místo pohybových aktivit ve volném čase a jejich ekonomickou a geografickou podmíněnost. Metodologie: Pro průzkum JSme použili metodu sociologického šetření formou nestandardizovaného, strukturovaného dotazníku. Dotazníky obdrželi žáci 6. a 9. tříd ZŠ. Výsledky práce: Podle zjištěných výsledků lze usuzovat, že vesnické děti mají k sportování blíž, i přestože pro organizované pohybové aktivity mají složitější podmínky. Městské děti raději posedávají v parku s kamarády, u televize nebo u monitoru počítače. Ve způsobu trávení volného času žáků 6. a 9. tříd nejsou velké rozdíly, z pohybových aktivit preferují pěší turistiku, cyklistiku, míčové hry a plavání. Public Realm and Civil Society in the Czech Republic - Sport Policy and its Stakeholders (Case Study)

The area of sport policy is in the political science a marginal issue, although the Czech public considers this as an important policy. The paper deals with the mutual relationships among sport, politics and civil society. The primary goal of this thesis is the analysis of the current sport policy and its stakeholders in the Czech Republic. The main text is divided into three chapters. The first one consists of theoretical part and deals with the theory of civil society, public policy and the issues of interest intermediation. The second chapter draws attention to the basic attributes of sport such as emergence, division and in particular the importance of sport for social relations. The last third chapter focuses mainly on the analysis of interests, priorities and goals of political parties and interest groups -- sports and physical education civil associations in the area of sports and physical activities. The end of the third chapter outlines the current problems and perspectives of sport and sport policy in the Czech Republic.
