Changes of burial in village Úhonice in the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century

The way of burial have during the 20th century in our country dramatically changed. Newly appeared cremation and in recent years there increase the burials without any ceremony. So high portion of burials without ceremony has not got a parallelism in the whole world. Traditional spiritual burials with a multiple leave and inhumanition to the grave on the graveyard are decreasing. There are still coming new and new options and ways of undertaking from now on. The thesis focuses on progress in burial in middle Bohemia's village called Úhonice during the years 1988-2008, where the ways of burying of all 205 dead people were perfectly registered. The case study shows the new forms of undertaking, which appears in Úhonice later than in bigger cities. Today the dead body is immediately taken by burial purposes, which even look after obsequies. By activity of professional burial purposes the burial customs disappear
Demographic-economic development of the parish Lašovice

This master thesis tries to solve in a practical part economic managements of two unios, the first one is Kampelik´s union in Lašovice and the second one is union Kampelička Lašovice. Thanks to financial statements, which were available in Písek, is in the master thesis calculated, in which years were unions losing and profiting. Registers of dead, birth and marriage would be checked for the informations in every single year. In a registr of birth were checked months, when were kids born or number of twins. In a register of dead were checked genders and their marital status. In a register of married people were checked grooms, grooms fathers, father of brides and grooms and brides witnesses. The theoretical part deals with the history of the village Lašovice, then deals with credit unions in the Czech countries. There are also demographic indicators, such as birth rate, marriages a dead rate.
Labor migration to the city of Kladno in the 19th century

The theme of this bachelor's thesis is migration of people to Kladno in second the half of the 19th century. The main goal was to find out where had the people come from. Also a number of marriages the in given period was studied. The work is divided int two parts. In the first part the history is described along with the growth of Kladno from a village to an important city. A discovery of coal and a development of the steel inustry is described further on. Information about parish registers, migration and demography are also included. In the second part the data from the parish registers are processed studying the number of mariages in Kladno. In the conclusion the data of the migraion originand its numbers are evaluated. Information about the most represented employment is also included.

Fathers on parental leave in the Czech Republic

Presented thesis is about fathers on parental leave in the Czech republic. Althought the men can take a parental leave since 2001, they are still the phenomenon in the society. The women are the dominant in parental leave, so there prevails the tradition division of roles. The aim of my thesis is to answer the question: How does the modern exchange of parenting roles influate the family functioning? In the theoretical part there is introduced the parental and maternity leave from the point of view in the past, legislation and the possibility taking the maternity and parental leave. The thesis is focused on parental, maternity and paternity leave from the point of view of eight european countries and states certain recommendation for Czech republic. Also describes the family functioning, parental role, gender role and stereotypes. The next part of thesis is focused on history of paternity, relationship between the father and child, and paternity parenting styles. The practical part contains ten interviews which research the experience and opinions of men on the parental leave. There are as well opinions from the wives/partners, who exchanged the roles with their male partners. Using the questionnaire survey, which was filled in by 238 respondents, there was researched what attitude does the Czech society have to the topic and generally to the position of men on parental leave.
Cultural differences in educatin Czech and English families

The master thesis introduces the educational systems in the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, with focus on England. When assigning the master thesis topic, the author did not realize how extensive and complex the topic was. Therefore, while studying documents, reserching information, and finding respondents, the topic of the thesis narrowed to focus only on the educational systems of both countries and their comparison from the teachers´point of view. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is built on information gained from studying documents. The author will present both systems, their history, basic features, and the individual stages of education. Concerning this topic, a relatively sufficient amount of literary and online resources exists. The practical part of the thesis introduces the results of a qualitative research. As a part of this thesis, ten interviews with teachers who have experience with both the Czech and English educational systems took place. Due to the broadness of the topic, the author has chosen the above mentioned qualitative research, specifically a semi-structured interview, which allows the topic to be researched thoroughly. The teachers had an opportunity to share their knowledge and experience, which they gained throughout their careers. The interviews enabled the author to gain new information which were not found in literature. The personal experiences brought a certain amount of authenticity to the thesis. The conclusion of the thesis consists of a summary of the information the author has managed to gather.
Adoption of children in the Czech Republic

The subject of the thesis is about child adoption in the Czech republic. The theoretical part of this paper examines the development of constitutional care for the orphaned children and the legal process of adoption. It includes a list of all possible ways to adopt a child and the related conditions. It also explored in detail the arrangement of the adoption process. The thesis also explores possible issues that may arise during the adoption process for both parties involved (adoptive child and adoptive parent). The practical part of the thesis addresses the growth of adoption from the year 2005 till 2015. The conclusion summazises the results of the survey and interviews conducted on this topic.
Demographic evolution of Velké Přílepy town and its influence on kinship

The theme of the bachelors thesis aims to analyze demographic structure of Velké Přílepy town, which is located in Central Bohemian region. Its main goal is to evaluate the influence of suburbanization towards its population in the last 20 years. The work is divided in two parts. The first part includes basic terminology associated with demography, brief history of demography and the difference in understanding of kinship. The second part pursues standard demographic indicators within the suburbanization of Velké Přílepy town and defines, how much are native residents and newcommers affected by this phenomenon. Final part of this work evaluates difference in understanding of kinship due to population growth of Velké Přílepy town.
Historical demographic trends of the parish in Bzenec

This master s thesis describes historical demographic trends in a small southern moravian town of Bzenec, which lies in a rich countryside of Lower Moravian ravine, mostly covered with vineyards. In this case, historical demographic trend means population and social evolution of this town. Main research is mostly pointed on statistics of births, marriages and deaths of Bzenec citizens, who were registered in a church registry books of births, marriages and deaths, which were run by the Bzenec parish. This thesis also researches a data of a total population evolution of people, who lived in Bzenec, as well as their professions and names and surnames of males and females. Main goal of the thesis was to make a little summery of a population trend between the years of 1850 and 2014 in the southern Moravia. Statistic of births describes the period of years 1855/1904, statistic of marriages describes years of 1883/1932 and statistic od deaths describes the era between years 1867/1916. All these data were framed with the total population evolution trends during the period of above mentioned 164 years, era of 1850/2014. Minor goal of the thesis was to make the town of Bzenec more known among people and to apprise the general public about church registry books and an (not only) archive researches, because this could increase researches and studies of history, which could (and the thesis-author wishes that) lead to the better understanding of our past. It is sad, that if we would like to understand the present times, we have to understand the past first. Practical part of the thesis, mentioned above, is supported by its theorethical part, that talks mostly about the church registry books and the town of Bzenec, but also about the rituals connected to birth, marriage and death.
Surrogacy in the Czech Republic

The Bachelor theses is focused on actual situation of Surrogacy in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters. In the first part family is defined with the main function and the fundamental form of family is described. Further the bachelor theses deals with surrogacy, especially forms and types of realization, history of surrogate motherhood and artificial insemination, in which the methods of assisted reproduction are explained. The second part is focused on process and risks of a surrogacy and law in the Czech Republic and abroad. The practical part is divided into two sections. In the first one questionnaires were filled in by public. The second part contains interviews with surrogate mothers who offers surrogacy.
