The topic of this paper "Possibilities and limits of a very small public libraries" is a research and description of the role and irreplaceability of very small libraries in the Czech society. It consists of two main parts. The first part deals with general problems of definition and the second part is devoted to research aimed at a small public libraries users information needs and the possibilities of providing these services libraries. Essencial source of information is an analysis of a few selected libraries in Benešov area including public survey. The survey was done in questionnaire form. This work is about factors which are affecting possibilities of small libraries and it describe survey respondents.

Sources of information for unemployed in the Czech Republic

The target of this bachelor work was to be established the summary of information sources for unemployed persons in the Czech republic, which are provided on the Internet. In the foreword was already explained the useful basic terms for the problems about the unemployment, destined in the short overview about development of unemployment on the area Czech republic. The second part of bachelor work dealing with combination of user working with I formations and with operation of Human resources. This chapter is solving the basic query and questions which needed to be requested from every unemployed person and gone advised to the most important types of information sources regarding the searching of work places. The third part of bachelor describes information sources and their possibilities for unemployed person. At last is written how to be characterized web sides of several types for information sources, the resolution evaluated user helpfulness and contribution to the unemployed persons.

The National film archive in Prague, his services and contemporary function in media policy

This bachelor's thesis focuses on a summary of activity the National film Archives in Prague, on his historical background and appearance in the past, and especially his current status and function. The main part is concentrate to the separations of NFA - how they cooperate together and complement each other in a flexible working archive unit, the questions of digitization and digital libraries NFA. The final part consist of the influence of archives on contemporary media policy.

Public opinion and market research in the Czech Republic as kind of communication feedback

Bachelor's work deals with market research and public opinion in Czech Republic concentrating on mass media. It presents the research as a suitable feedback for application in mass communications and mass media. The first part of the work defines some basic terms concerning mass communications and media, the following part deals with a short history of investigations in Czech Republic and in the former Czechoslovakia. Next part explains the certain methodolologies and methods which are used in the research. Another part of the work presents the list of the main agencies acting in the sphere of market research and public opinion in Czech Republic. In conclusion of the work it is shown the ethics of investigations and intervention of state, law and norms into research. [Autor's abstract].

Personal data security in public libraries

Bakalářská práce pojednává o ochraně osobních údajů a tuto problematiku zaměřuje na veřejné knihovny. První část vymezuje pojmy týkající se osobních údajů, část druhá seznamuje se Zákonem na ochranu osobních údajů, třetí částí je stručné seznámení s Úřadem na ochranu osobních údajů, následující část se zabývá hlavními úkoly a povinnostmi správce osobních údajů, konkrétně body stanovenými zákonem a jejich uplatněním v praxi, závěrečná část se pak zabývá konkrétními příklady ochrany osobních údajů v knihovnách (www.zbraslav.advice.cz/knihovna, www.uvaly.cz/knihovna), představuje zvolenou knihovnu v rámci obecného úvodu, a prezentuje informace získané od konkrétních osob v knihovně pracujících.
